Product Details of Zoeva 315 Fine Liner Brush:
• Very fine eyeliner brush with nylon bristles.
• Creates the perfect eyelid line with gel eyeliner, cream eyeliner and eyeshadow.
• Classic and ladylike.

A classic eyeliner brush with a fine point, for easy and precise application. Its nylon bristles work best with cream liner and liquid products. To create eyelid lines with eyeshadow gently dip the brush in a little water and apply the line with your favorite eyeshadow color.

We recommend to use a brush for each color or to clean the brush with the ZOEVA Brush Cleanser before using a different shade of color. The Fine Liner brush is an indispensable tool for a classic, subtle eye makeup. This handcrafted eyeliner brush has been ergonomically designed to create flawless and precise eyelid lines.

The fine tip and and the vegan nylon bristles enable a professional application with cream eyeliner, cake eyeliner and eyeshadow.

Product Details of Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil Brush:
• Eyeshadow brush for shading and blending.
• Professional application in the crease and along the lash line.
• The key to sexy, smoky eyes.

Use this pencil shaped makeup brush to emphasize every corner of your eye area. The 230 Luxe Pencil is a specialist for eyeshadow application in the crease, blends edges evenly and creates fabulously shaded results along the lash line for a smoky eye effect. This individually handcrafted brush is ideal for precise shading, covering up and smoothing edges in the eyelid crease or along the lash line.

Thanks to its triangular shape and compact natural-synthetic hair mix, it absorbs excess color and applies it evenly and en détail. Small, stylish, compact and soft.

My Thoughts on Zoeva 315 Fine Liner Brush:

This is a classic bent liner brush. The nylon bristles are packed together quite well and is quite thin. All the bristles come to a nice tapered point at the end which allows you to create a very thin and precise line. The ferrule is nicely pinched in the center. The length of the entire brush is 15.3 cm and the brush itself is the thinnest I have in my collection. It is thinner than its cousin the 317 Wing Liner brush.

I feel I can use an eyeshadow dry and still get a good and even application. I mostly wet my brush with water or Mac Fix+ and then apply the eyeshadow wet. I prefer this method personally. As for the brush itself, I prefer this liner to the 317 Wing Liner brush just for the precision factor.

My Thoughts on Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil Brush:

This brush is made of natural-synthetic hair mix and is 15 cm long. It is thicker than the 230. This pencil brush is not as pointy as I expected. From the photos on the website, it looks as if it tapers to a point but in reality, it has a nice curved U shape at the top. The bristles are densely packed.

I am a person who doesn’t like very thick smudgy/smoky eyeshadow on the bottom lash line, so I find it difficult to get a thinner but smudgy line with this brush. Personally, I wish it was not so densely packed and tapered to a point to get even more precision. So what I do to get that precision is to first smudge an eyeshadow on the lower lash line and then clean it up with makeup remover.

Another thing to note is that it is not pinched at the point where the bristles meet the ferrule. But I do like it for getting a precise outer V and highlighting in the inner corners of the eye. Also this is a great brush for pinpoint concealing on the face. I love it for using it with a concealer too. I feel it holds onto the product very well.

One thing to note about both these brushes is that they stain and do not rid themselves of colour until you wash them. I hate them looking stained so I tend to wash them immediately after use. Both of them have not shed in the time I have had them. The 230 brush does splay a bit which I am not fond of.

Pros of Zoeva 315 Fine Liner Brush:

• Bent at the perfect angle.
• Easy to hold and maneuver.
• Easy to get thin and precise lines.
• Comes to a tapered point.

Pros of Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil Brush:

• Great for spot/pinpoint concealing on the face.
• Great for highlighting inner corner or adding darkness to the outer V.

Cons of Zoeva 315 Fine Liner Brush:

• None.

Cons of Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil Brush:

• Densely packed – difficult to get thin and smudged line.
• Does not come to a point like photos on the website.
• Splays a bit after months of use.

IMBB Rating of Zoeva 315 Fine Liner Brush: 5/5
IMBB Rating of Zoeva 230 Luxe Pencil Brush: 4/5

Final Thoughts:
If you want some good quality brushes but don’t want to splurge on high-end ones (like me), then this is perfect for you!
