My Take on Zoeva Cream Eyeliner – Baroque:

This Zoeva cream eyeliner comes in a cute, little frosted glass pot. These are the creamiest eyeliner pot I have used till date. Although the shades are sold as cream eyeliners, I most of the times use this as a shadow all-over the lid. This is such a stunning bronzey-shimmery shade for Indian skin tones that you just can’t use it as a liner alone. Baroque has finely milled golden shimmer in it, but it doesn’t feel scratchy or gritty on the lids. In fact, I find the texture quite hydrating.

As the name suggests, it is really creamy. I use a tiny amount on my fingertip to blend on the lid. The pigmentation is insane and very opaque, though you can easily build up the color intensity by applying another coat. It dries up quickly, so you have to work really fast on it, but before that it blends like a dream! Once it dries, it just does NOT smudge or budge from its place.

I have oily eyelids, but even in this humid weather, the color stays on my eyelids for the whole day. It doesn’t settle into the crease either. This can be used as a great shadow base too. Overall, I think this is such a versatile shade and product as you can use it in so many different ways.

This can be a close match for By Terry Ombre Black Star in Moon Bronze. That one costs a whopping 29 pounds!! So if there is any budget constraint, you can definitely check this out 🙂

  • It seems to be this perfect multi-tasking product; can be used as a base, eyeliner and eye shadow.
  • Has a buttery smooth texture.
  • Lasts for eternity even on oily eyelids.
