Hello all,
I am back with review of a few more nail polishes from Zoya; the shades that I am reviewing today are Petra, Lotus and Yuna. Read on to find out more.
Price:
$9 each.
Product Description:
Zoya is the healthy color of fashion. Big 5 free formula over 300 ultra-long wearing, toxin free nail polish to choose from.
My Experience with Zoya Professional Nail Lacquer – Petra, Lotus, Yuna:
Packaging: Zoya nail polishes come in a sturdy glass bottle with a black cap. The packaging is quite jazz-free and comes across as very minimalistic, but it is quite effective.
Brush Applicator: The brush is good and picks up a good quantity of the nail polish. The application is easy and smooth too.
Drying Power: The nail polish dries pretty quickly. Even two coats dry out fast.
Staying Power: The staying power on these nail polishes is very good and polish easily stays on my nails for 4-5 days before it starts fading.
Now, for some detailed review of each of the colors:
1. Petra: Zoya describes Petra as a dark, smoky, dusky grey crème with strong purple undertones. The shade comes across as a purplish grey in the bottle. On my hands though, it appears more bluish grey. It is a lovely classy shade and despite being a dark shade, it is not over the top at all. This is a shade which will suit all skin tones, but it is more of a fall/winter shade. It applies okay in one coat, but you do need 2 coats to even it out and get rid of any visible nail line. The finish is a glossy crème.
2. Lotus: Zoya describes Lotus as a very soft, dusty blue-toned amethyst purple with colorful shimmer that reflects pink, red and gold. A dreamy smoky shade for purple lovers that looks both soft and luminous. Lotus is quite true to its description. It appears on the nails as a delicate purplish blue with shimmer. The shimmer is quite subtle and adds a lovely sheen to the finish. It is one of those shades which makes your hands look pretty and dainty. It applies quite sheer on the first coat and I had thought it will require at least 3 coats, but surprisingly, it evens out in 2 coats.
3. Yuna: Zoya describes Yuna as a full-coverage warm grey with copper and gold liquid metal. On my nails, Yuna appears as a dark cement grey with dark bluish undertones. It has visible shimmer particles. This shade is not my personal favorite, but those of you who like dark shimmery shades will like it. It does cover the nails in one coat, but two coats add an even finish.

I am obsessed with cement colors, so I would chose Petra over the other two colors 🙂
I want Petra too, can anyone suggest its dupe?
I’d choose Petra and Lotus <3
