Zydus Purify Herbal Hand Sanitizer Flora Review

Zydus Purify Herbal Hand Sanitizer Flora Review

Hi IMBB Beauties :pompom:

There’s one product on this planet earth which is indispensable for me and that is a hand sanitizer. I am such a hygiene and cleanliness freak that I don’t leave the house without this product. I may forget a lip balm, but can never forget a hand sanitizer. I have been using Dettol Hand sanitizer for a number of years, but was bored seeing the same bottle, so thought of buying a different one this time.

The chemist gave me Zydus Purify Herbal Hand Sanitizer. I was quite impressed seeing the content in the bottle and the fact that it came from a pharmaceutical company made me instantly go for it.

Zydus Hand Sanitizer

Price/Packaging/Quantity:

INR 65 for 100ml. It comes in a sleek transparent plastic bottle with a light-blue coloured flip cap at the top. The transparent bottle adds to the appeal because one can see small purple and blue granules inside. I was quite curious to find out how would these granules get absorbed while rubbing the sanitizer on the hands.

What’s Written on the Bottle?

Purify Herbal Hand sanitizer kills 99.9% of common germs that may cause illness or infection. It’s herbal formulation helps reduce bacteria with Vitamin E and Aloe keeps your hands soft.

Ingredients:

Alcohol(95% v/v) content 62%(w/w) denatured with 1% (w/w) Dieethylphthalate, Watwe, Aloe Vera Ext, Isopropyl Alcohol, Floral Fragrance, triethanolamine, Acrylates/ C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Grape Leaf Extract, Soyabean Extract & Wheat Germ extract, Triclosan, Mannitol, Cellulose, Ultramarines Cl77007, Vitamin E Acetate, Hydroxypropyl, Methylcellulose, Pigment Blue 15 CI No:74160

My Take on Zydus Purify Herbal Hand Sanitizer Flora:

I have been using this sanitizer for two weeks now and I can safely say that I like it. It comes as a transparent gel with small purple and blue granules. A small amount is required for the hands. The granules are so soft and while rubbing they just vanish into thin air.  From the bottle, these granules seem to be big and I thought they would be harsh or something to give the scrubbing effect, but these are as soft as a rubber and the size is as small as a dot. The sanitizer gets absorbed within half a minute of rubbing. It exudes a very mild fragrance, which remains for 30 minutes or so. I am not very impressed with the fragrance as it is not at all to my liking. More than herbal, it smells medicinal, but this part didn’t come as a surprise because I can’t expect a fresh flowery fragrance from the product which is by a pharmaceutical company and mainly into medicines.

Pros of Zydus Purify Herbal Hand Sanitizer Flora:

1. Unique concept of granules in a hand sanitizer.
2. Has extracts of vitamin E, Aloe and Grape leaf.
3. Gets absorbed really quickly.
4. Claims to kill 99.9% of common germs.
5. Claims to be a herbal formulation.

Cons of Zydus Purify Herbal Hand Sanitizer Flora:

1. The fragrance is medicinal which some people may not like, even I did not like :yuck:
2. The other day, my friend asked a few chemists and they didn’t have it, so availability may be another problem.
3. What about the uncommon germs :stars:

IMBB Rating:

4 out of 5.

Will I Repurchase?

Though I like it, but still nothing can give me the satisfaction which Dettol sanitizer gives, so I may not buy it again and would go back to my Dettol hand sanitizer only.

Guys please suggest me a good sanitizer which is easy to carry, like the one shivani has reviewed and which should be used with water!

  4. A friend at work has this, and I actually liked the smell! It’s very floral and nice, and not even a bit medicinal! Maybe it’s a different version? ?:)
I remember it was from Zydus, though. 😐
