I have hoarded a lot of Makeup Revolution goodies and I am jumping from one range to the other to try out the entire brand. My Experience with Makeup Revolution Their Eyes Can’t Find Us Ultra Velour Lip Cream:
I really enjoy choosing my shades from this brand because MUR offers the cutest names ever. I had picked up 2 lip creams earlier, and I finally decided to pick up a nude one because I don’t have even one decent nude shade in my collection.
Packaging:
The lip cream comes in a very pretty looking rose gold coloured box with the name of the range and shade over it. It has this little window over it which lets us see the shade of the lip cream. The lip cream comes in a regular packaging which is round and sturdy. The shade is easily available in the bottle and it is indeed very travel-friendly. The slanted wand is a perfect one as it glides smoothly on my lips giving it a perfect shape.
Shade:
The shade “Their Eyes Can’t Find Us” is a pretty, nude shade with little peachy hints. It is a like a perfect nude for my skin tone, but I wish it had more peachy hints. That way, it would have been more visible. I need to swipe it at least 3-4 times to build up the colour and to make the shade more visible. I am a little disappointed because this is not something that would complement Indian skin tones beautifully.
It just makes my lips look even toned, and that’s it. It will totally wash out wheatish to dusky skin tones. It is an MLBB lip cream for fair skin, but I think my lips will look good without this one too because it does not make a lot of difference. This is a great shade for the American skin-tone, but certainly not for us; we have better ones to grab.
Texture and finish:
The lip cream is thick and creamy like butter, umm, I think it could be better called a chocolate mousse because the texture is exactly like that, and it does smell like a butterscotch mousse. It glides on really smoothly on my lips without a lot of tugging or pulling. A few swipes are needed to build up the colour and coverage. It gives a slight sheen for some time, and then settles to a velvety matte finish. The finish is semi-matte and it does not turn completely matte at any point, but just fakes a look like that. It will highlight chapped lips and will settle into the fine lines too. It transfers a lot too, in fact it transfers completely if I sip on a lot of water.
Staying power:
The lip cream stays only for 2 hours because it is a very subtle and a light shade.. Also it does not leave a stain like other variants. This, in particular, vanishes instantly if I eat food or take a few sips of water. I can definitely say that the staying power is very poor in regard to the price they charge.
Call this a skip for sure because there are better nudes to try out!

• They don’t test on animals
Cons of Makeup Revolution Their Eyes Can’t Find Us Ultra Velour Lip Cream:
• It highlights chapped lips and settles into the fine lines
• The color doesn’t show up much; it exactly blends with my skin tone
• It wears off within an hour because it is such a light shade
• Will wash out wheatish to dusky skin tones
• Won’t survive meals or even glasses of water
• The price difference is vast from country to country
• Very expensive in India
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Makeup Revolution Their Eyes Can’t Find Us Ultra Velour Lip Cream?
I wouldn’t recommend this nor would I get it again because we have better nude shades in the makeup town.

Umm, I would have loved a creamier and a visible nude shade. Also these creams are overpriced. So a goodbye to this range for now!
