In this outfit, I decided to play with the basics but every piece that I am wearing has a bit of twist to it. The white skirt has these fun box pleats that makes it different from a regular A-line skirt. I had been hunting for a biiiiggg black coat for a long time. I found this one at Zara. It’s a huge coat and different from the regular black coats that I normally end up picking. I can wear it in so many ways. A basic black sweater but I decided to add a twist to it by adding a statement neckpiece. The neckpiece is a part of beautiful collaboration between Zariin and Sachin George. Sachin George creates art on paper and his art work was transformed into jewlery. My most abused bag these days to add a color and fun pumps to bring the look together.
Have a great day ahead everyone.
Today’s Makeup : Chanel Base Lumiere, Stila Tinted moisturiser, Bobbi Brown Corrector, MAC Mineralise skinfinish Natural, MAC Blush gingerly, Bobbi Brown Longwear Eyeliner in Jet for tight-lining, L’oreal million lashes mascara, Lotus Lip Balm Cherry, MAC Lipstick Brave Red.
On Nails : Maybelline Colorshow Bold Gold and Blackout.
I also have to say heaps of thanks to the Maybelline Team. When they asked me if I could create some nail arts using their Colorshow nail paints, my first answer was no. In my 4 years of IMBB I have never done nail arts. They are just not my forte. But upon insistence I agreed. And what fun I had doing every single one. I mean before every outfit, there used to be an excitement of playing with the nail paints, going through inspiration pics and then trying, testing, failing and succeeding.
The best was when I went home last week and everyone around couldn’t stop praising my nail art. I only geeeeed.
You know sometimes you just have to say ‘yes’ to things…:)
