These Real Techniques makeup brushes that I picked from Kulpreet’s sale. Love love love! π
A very thoughtful New Year’s gift for Sanjeev and Me from Hidesign. π Limited edition leather bound journals. You can pick some from their website HERE
Lotus Ecostay Foundation : Plain beautiful velvetty matte coverage and very very long staying. Those with oily skin would love this but I am loving wearing it for evenings and photographs already. π
I was looking for something super thick, super rich body lotion or body butter for my dry skin for winters. A quick search on IMBB and I came across this one from Palmer’s . Absolutely love this. It smells like hot chocolate. π It takes ages to get absorbed but I don’t mind. I find it very nourishing for my dry skin. π
Absolutely in love with the Black Amber EDT from Zara. It has a very sensuous fragrance. Very evening kinda fragrance but I can’t resist wearing it during the day as well. π I’d pick up a bigger bottle of this for sure. π
And last but not the least, Chai at the Claridges Dhaba. π
I love love Palmer’s cocoa butter products though they’re pretty expensive here! Also, Ralph lauren’s romance is my new favourite! π
I’d check that out π

Hi Rati. Your ‘currently loving’ lists are my favourite π
Two questions: Does the lotus foundation photograph well? And could you suggest a good foundation brush for the natural airbrushed look?
yes it does I’d share some pics more in coming posts . π
I love sigma brushes the flat kabuki and the ones shown above. π
Thanks! I think I ll pick some real techniques brush, would be great if you could tell me specifically which one out of the above is great for foundation. I am planning to order it from amazon and get it shipped to my friend who is going to visit US. And ooh, how is the lasting power of Zara EDT’s?
the first one from the top is amazing. but if you have a smaller face even the second one is nice.
The staying power of EDt is amazing. lasts me good 6 hours + π

Im sooooooo glad you are loving the brushes Rati!!! I really really wish they were available in India – they really are game changing in the expensive world of brushes. You must try their single piece brushes as well – some amazing ones there as well.
Lotus seems to have paid attention to the aesthetics – the bottle looks classy! Await your review on the same.
And what wouldn’t i give for the opportunity to stay in bed with a thick blanket, good book and some chai! Distant dreamsβ¦..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmβ¦. *waaa* *waaa*
