I am a big fan of BB and CC creams since I own a lot of heavy coverage foundations which wouldn’t work great for daily use! I spotted this amazing looking CC crème from Hard Candy and planned to pick it up. I have been using this since a while now and this is my current favourite for minimal makeup for hot days. So let’ start with the in-depth review.

My Experience with Hard Candy CC Correction Crème SPF 15 – Light:
Packaging: Hard Candy totally knows how to crack it when it comes to the packaging. Doesn’t the packaging look super cute? I am in love with it! The pack comes in a white and pink combination with hearts as the bullet points. The tube is a medium sized one which makes it very easy to carry it all around.
The tube is an inverted one which makes the product come out immediately when squeezed! The nozzle gives out the right amount of product needed, so absolutely no flaws with the packaging.
Consistency, finish, coverage and shade: The consistency looks pretty thick when squeezed out but it spreads amazingly well on my skin. Even if I don’t apply a moisturiser, it glides perfectly which is why I can skip the moisturiser. The finish is not cakey at all; in fact it gives a mousse effect which looks very great and natural. The finish is neither matte nor dewy; it falls somewhere in between them. The coverage is really great and I would call it a medium coverage CC cream. It conceals my acne marks to a very good extent, hides the redness of the pimples and the nose area, brightens up my complexion, makes my skin look even toned and much more. It totally works like an instant beautifier and makes my skin look super fresh and healthy. The shade “Light” is perfect for fair to medium skin tones as it blends in very nicely with the natural skin tone. It does not leave any whitish cast on the face at all.
Staying power: The staying power would be somewhere around 4-5 hours and then it fades away little by little. It will last even longer if topped up with a pressed powder to set it. It does oxidise a little at the end of the day but does not make the face look very dull. Overall, super happy with this purchase from Hard Candy!

• The finish is between matte and dewy which looks great.
• Stays put for 4-5 on its own and an hour more if topped up with a pressed powder.
Cons of Hard Candy CC Correction Crème SPF 15 – Light:
• Oxidises a very little after 4 hours.
• Limited availability in India.
