Deepika Padukone has attained the Queen Bee status of Bollywood. With a spate of super successful films that have all made to the 100-crore club, she has become one of the most bankable actresses. From Rajnikanth to Shah Rukh Khan, she has worked with all the superstars. Deepika shines equally bright off screen too. Her style is impeccable on red carpet. People may not wait eagerly for Sonam Kapoor “the fashionista” to make an appearance, but they definitely watch out for Deepika Padukone to strut down red carpet, such is the charisma of the star. But only recently, I have noticed that she copies heavily from Hollywood for her red carpet appearances. It’s a little shocking, but let’s find out who wore it better – Deepika or the star who wore it originally?
1. Deepika wowed everyone when she showed up at the Filmfare Awards 2014 in a golden shimmery gown, but a little research shows us that the same type of dress (albeit black) was worn by Lady Victoria Hervey at the Golden Globes Awards After Party. The black dress that Hervey wore left little to imagination, I definitely liked Deepika’s better.
2. Deepika wore a one-shoulder lacey black dress for the Chivas Studio Spotlight Event – the same dress was worn by Malese Jow for the Twilight Breaking Dawn Saga Premiere at Los Angeles.
3. This one is an exact copy. Deepika picked up a well-cut black gown for Filmfare 2013, which Zoe Saldana had made an appearance at the CFDA Awards 2013. The dress was designed by Prabal Gurung.
4. She dazzled and shimmered at the Vogue beauty awards 2012 in a Dolce and Gabbana dress that Ashley Benson wore at the Toronto International Film Festival 2012.

no matter from where her outfits are copied, she carries them exceptionally well. i love her style ..its always elegant and classy. Plus she has such a pretty face… 😀
I don’t think you should classify these as copies , she is wearing all the international brands and of corse they make more than one copy of the dress , and it’s not that she is copying one person all the time . These are beautiful dresses and she wears them with style
