CVS Tranquil Advanced Healthcare Moisturizing Body Wash Review

Hello everyone,

During a not-so-recent trip to my local CVS drugstore for some medication, I inevitably landed in the cosmetic section (like every time). While sniffing some products, a couple of them just grabbed my attention and in turn came home with me. I picked up a body wash and a body mist, I will be reviewing the body wash for you in this post. This review will be on the Advanced Healthcare Moisturizing Body Wash in “Tranquil.” There were also other versions called Comfort, Escape, Fresh, Romance and so on, designed to evoke a particular feeling with the scent.

My Experience with CVS Tranquil Advanced Healthcare Moisturizing Body Wash:

Packaging: This body wash comes in a sturdy plastic bottle which is see through, hence you can easily see how much of product you have left. The size is pretty generous for the price and this bottle has lasted me 4-5 months with daily use and it’s on its last few uses now. It has a flip top cap. Overall, it reminds me very much of the Sauvé body wash packaging.

Texture: This is a gel texture. You need just a tiny amount to produce a generous amount of lather. A little goes a long way.

Fragrance: The fragrance of this body wash is pretty strong but it is not overwhelming. The “Tranquil” scent and the pretty blue color reminds of cool ocean breeze. I am a huge fan of aquatic scents and that is why this scent attracted me. It has a faint floral sweetness and smells very refreshing. The scent fills my whole bathroom and lingers on my skin hours after shower.
Body wash

Feel on skin: This body wash did not dry out my skin. My skin felt cleansed yet it did not feel dry or stretchy but it was not as hydrating as other creamy body washes (like Dove). I mostly prefer using this during the summer time.

Overall, I love this body wash. It refreshingly cleans well without drying and the scent is just heavenly. This brand can be easily purchased at any CVS store, so availability is not an issue and it is very affordable. I will recommend this and will be checking out other scents from this range on my next CVS trip.
