We know Argan oil is good for hair, skin, nails and it is known as liquid Gold. I always wanted to try one, but most of them which I have seen were overpriced, so when I found this in range, I did not waste time and picked it up. Also, the packing said that it is organic and contains 100% pure argan oil, so there was no second thought. I have used it for around 4 months and in many ways, so I guess now this is the best time to review it.

My Experience with Acure Certified Organic Moroccan Argan Oil:
Acure Certified Organic Moroccan Argan Oil comes in a glass bottle which comes secured in a cardboard box.The bottle has a pump attached to it which can be locked or unlocked by rotating it.The packaging is hygienic and I did not notice any leaks from the pump too. The only thing I dislike a little bit about the packing is that the bottle is not dark colored. I have read that the argan oil is sensitive to light and should be stored in dark colored bottles which is clearly not the case here.
The oil is golden in color, though it comes out as almost colorless when you take out a pump or two, but since the bottle is transparent, the color is easily seen. It has a slightly burnt, nutty fragrance to it which is not too strong, or maybe I don’t feel it anymore. You would notice the smell though, if you are using it for the first time. The oil is very light and not greasy. It glides on the skin like silk.
The brand claims that the product could be used in 5 ways. Let us see if it fulfilled all the claims or not. As a repairing facial serum only one pump of the oil is enough for applying on face and neck, when using as a serum. I have a dry to combination skin which is sensitive to anything I use. Any new thing can cause breakouts. I used a single pump and did not feel the need of using any cream or moisturizer over it. I use it at night and do wake up to hydrated, moisturized and glowing skin in the morning.
In just a couple of days, I saw a major change in my skin. It even helped in reducing the scars, tackled the pigmentation, dark spots and helped with the dry patches. But, it broke me out.:( I tried using it after an interval but it again broke me out which kind of nullified all the benefits. Now, I use it just a couple of times per week, instead of using it daily, after cleaning my face with my acne free advanced cleaning brush. This way,I get the goodness of the oil and save myself from the breakouts as well.
As a body decollete massage oil-I have used a few pumps of it with my body lotion and it adds up a bit more moisture without being greasy.I use it on days when my skin behaves weird and it does help calm my skin.
As hair serum– I have very fine and thin hair. I have tried using it on my hair and It does adds shine but my hair look greasy and weighed down. No matter how little I use, my hair become greasy. But I guess for girls with curly hair, it would help them keep their hair behaving well.
As hand and cuticle repair – Now now, this is the way I have used up more than half of my bottle. It has done wonders with my dry chapped hands. Whenever I see my cuticles damaged, I use 2 pumps of it and massage it well on my nails, cuticles as well as hands before going to the bed and I wake up with soft, healed hands. Also with just a couple of days usage, it’s healed my cuticles. It is the most effective cuticle repair cream I have used.
Soothes dry elbows and heels – With constant roaming around, kneeling down (on the lakeside, during games) my kneels became as rough as a pumice stone. I used it daily for a couple of days and it did restore the softness and suppleness in my skin. It hasn’t made much difference to my heels though.
