Well, the idea for IMBB Dubai had taken root during our Dubai visit only. Dubai is a city alive and bubbling with fashion, makeup and lifestyle. It’s teeming with good-looking fashionable women; even the women in Abayas look fashionable. Rati absolutely loved the city, wanted to shift there permanently too. And me? Well, I was thinking about a blog covering the makeup and fashion scene in Dubai. But we were busy with IMBB as it were, and I let the idea go.
And then came Zeeba.
Well, the prolific writer at IMBB has shifted base to Dubai. She still wanted to write on IMBB from Dubai. And my instant question was, “would you like to run IMBB Dubai?” She said yes and that was that.
Ladies, please welcome our ‘Emirati Makeup Blog.‘
To be honest, ‘IMBB Dubai‘ is a misnomer. The blog would be covering all the GCC countries; that’s what Zeeba tells me.
Why a separate blog? Well, there are a lot of local things we cannot cover on IMBB. For example, the women’s love for abayas or the fascination with fragrances in the middle east. We needed a separate blog to maintain the local feel. So there! 🙂
So while Zeeba is grappling with nitty gritties of running a blog, let me invite all our readers in GCC countries to contribute to our ‘Emirati Makeup Blog.’ Please email us at uae [at] makeupandbeauty [dot] com.
Indian readers of IMBB are welcome to read the Emirati Blog as long as they can convert AED to INR. 😛

Mahira, actually never thought this could mean so much to you. Guess I never think of so many thing because of the kind of exposure i have had in my life. My best friend got married to a muslim, i have grown up reciting christian prayers because of my convent schooling, my naani is a sikh, and I am a Punjabi who got married to a Rajput. 🙂 So you know I kinda have a bit of every religion in me. thank you so very much.
