Bareminerals Blush Beauty

Product Purchased by IMBB

Hi ladies,

So finally I decided to take a break from lip products and I am back with a blush this time. I have used cream blushes, powder blushes but  never used a mineral loose powder blush. So this one from bareminrals is my first mineral blush  and mineral makeup is always different to work with unlike other types of makeup. So how did my experience go with this blush, read on to find more.

Price: $19 for 0.03 oz

What the Product Claims: Discover fabulous, good-for-you cheek color. These creamy, 100 percent pure bareMinerals Blushes give you a beautiful, healthy tone that looks natural, because it is. Create a soft, radiant glow that’s ideal for all skin types, including sensitive and problem-prone skin.

My Experience with Bareminerals Blush Beauty:

The Bareminerals Blush in Beauty is a sweetheart rose shade. This cool toned pink has a slight hint of lavender in it too. So I was bit scared initially if this shade will look good on my warm undertone skin, but after trying it on, I can say that this is a color which looks equally good on warm and cool toned skin. But it will show up better on light to medium skin tone only. In the box you can see some fine silver sparkles in it but when on skin, the sparkles are not visible at all. It only gives a healthy glow to skin, no chunky shine.

The blush is in loose powder form, so if you don’t keep the lid closed properly then you will end up with a massy looking pot. To use the product the best way is to take some product out on back of the palm, swirl a blush brush in it, tap to remove the excess and then work on your skin, simple… but not always. With loose powder at times it is very difficult to decide how much product  there  is in the brush, so always work the product on your skin with light hands to get better control on color. Its powder blush but does not give any chalky feel.

Talking of the staying power, to check this I wore it to gym and zumba classes, and it stayed on my cheeks even after heavy sweating. On normal days also it stays on me for 6-8 hours. And when topped on cream blush it stays on for 12 hours too. The mineral blush is free of many harmful chemicals so it’s an ideal choice for girls with sensitive skin. So if you want to try mineral makeup and want to try a blush in a cool toned pink this is the best choice for you.

Pros of Bareminerals Blush Beauty:

• Free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates.
• Beautiful cool toned rosy shade, which looks good on warm skin tones too.
• Gives a velvety finish.
• Stays on for very long.
• Does not look chalky.

Cons of Bareminerals Blush Beauty:

• The pot can go messy if the lid is not closed properly.
• Costly, for this price the amount of product we get is so less.

IMBB Rating: 4/5

Will I be repurchasing Bareminerals Blush Beauty?

I think I will try some other shades, as it’s not my HG shade .
