Beauty UK Eye shadow palettes in Soho & Earth Child
Hello beautiful ladies,
Today I will be reviewing 2 eye shadow palettes from Beauty UK. I received one of these in my Fab bag a few months ago and I liked it so much and found it so affordable that I ordered a second one. The one I got is called Earth Child which contains all neutral/ earthy shades and the second one I ordered is called Soho which contains all bright colors.
Product quantity: 10g
Price: Rs. 513
Packaging: The palette containing 10 shadows comes in a rectangular packaging with eye shadows in small round pans. The lid of the palette is transparent which makes shade recognition easy. Each palette comes with long dual sided sponge applicator and a small rectangular mirror is also present in the palette itself.
Ingredients: List of ingredients is mentioned at the back of the packaging.
Product Description: Make a fresh statement everyday with our best selling 10 eye shadow combo palettes – as featured in Vogue.
My take on the Beauty UK Eye Shadow Palettes
Color & Pigmentation:
Soho: All the colors in the Soho palette are bright fun colors and all of them contain shimmers, but when applied on lids, the shimmers are not visible in every color. The brightest pink comes out to be matte and no shimmer is seen at all. The palette contains 3 shades of blue, out of which sky blue and one of the dark blues give satiny finish.
Pigmentation of some colors is better than the others. Out of the 10 colors in Soho, I found 4 colors better pigmented than others, but unfortunately many of them do not come as bright on the eyes as they appear in the pan or on the hand. But if I have to select most pigmented color, it would be the pink (the one on top left corner) and least pigmented would be dark blue (the one on top right corner).
Earth Child: Colors in this palette are towards the neutral side. They contain all the beautiful neutral shades one can think of. It has a black, a white, bronze, brown grey and even a beautiful highlight color. All the colors in this palette too seem to be shimmery, the shimmer particles can be easily seen in the pan, but some of them come out to be completely matte. All the colors in this palette are extremely beautiful which makes it really difficult for me to select my favorite color. The pigmentation of colors in this palette is much better than that of colors in Soho, every color is so pigmented. Both black and white colors contains minute shimmer particles but black comes out to be matte and white gives a pearly shine on lids.
Texture: Texture wise, the colors are smooth to apply and easy to blend, they do not give any harsh lines on application nor did I face any fallout issue.
Staying Power: Some of the more pigmented colors have a better staying power than the less pigmented ones, the more pigmented ones stays for around 4 hours without a primers and on the other hand the less pigmented ones lasts only up to around 2 hours after which the colors start fading. There is not much issue of creasing, as they do not stay on lids for a long time and hence they do not crease.
Overall Experience: Overall I think that these palettes are good but not excellent. Good, as they offer good color range in an affordable range (Rs. 513 for 10 colors is not much), but it could have been excellent if the pigmentation of some colors would have been better.

Would I buy Beauty UK Eye Shadow Palettes product again?
No…I already have 2 and I don’t think that I need more of these in my life.
Do I recommend Beauty UK Eye Shadow Palettes?
If I compare the price with the number of colors we get, then yes you must buy it, and I really feel that these are a good option for girls who are getting started with makeup as they get to try so many colors.
IMBB Rating: Soho: 2.5/5, Earth Child: 4/5

Hi.. Yes I agree with the usefulness of this palette. Also because of its low price tag, I have no qualms about using it as a conturing product or in shaping my eyebrows. I reach out for this palette the most.
