As the year is ending, it’s time to rewind and recall the best and the worst of the season.So, I thought I’d ask you guys to list down your favourites and no-so-favorites. By the end of the year we’d save or spend some money based on the experiences of the fellow IMBBians. 🙂 This series would go on till the end of December.
So here goes the first one :
What has been your favourite and not-so-favourite body lotion for 2012? Also, mention your skin type.
I guess I’d start with mine :
I have dry skin. No duds as such but these have been my super favs this year :
1. Forest Essentials Body Oil Orage & Cinnamon
2. Kiehl’s Creme De Corps Lightweight Body Lotion
3. Vaseline Cocoa Butter Body Lotion
4. L’occitane Ulta Rich Body Cream
I have sensitive skin but I love using Vaseline and Lakme Sunexpert..
No bad experiences this year..

I have normal to dry skin
i have dry skin which turns super dry in winters….my favs will be the vaseline cocoa butter and the parachute body lotion for extra dry skin.

I have dry skin and I LOVE TBS Cocoa Butter. Its heavenly moisturizing.
Body lotion on a budget – Himalaya all purpose cold cream serves the purpose.

Oops..!!! Yeah..!!!! It’s IMBB.. 😀 and yaar.. the cake is soooo awesome.. the person who thought of that vanity bag on the cake is super creative..!!! Next yr.. when I am in Delhi.. I am coming to eat the cake for 4 th anniversary.

2.Vaseline Coco body lotion
i have normal skin, but when winter comes it becomes super dry, i tried all the indian ITC lotion but the best that suited me is pond triple vitamin, i even tried TBS shea body butter n blam, that made me super dry, my lips were peeling, and i google for allergies using shea butter , bang i came to know i got it T_T

My fav body lotion for Summers was Nivea Happy Time
and for the Winters its Vaseline Cocoa Glow all the way…
The worst body lotion of not just 2012 but that i have EVER used: Lotus Vanilla Velvet..

1) Nivea Happy Time Body Lotion (Best one I used this year..Very light weight yet awesome moisturisation..I am jus crazy of the fragrance ..i am on my 2nd bottle of this lotion :D)
2) Fab India Aloevera Body Lotion (Again a good one got such a divine smell of aloevera :))
3) Lotus Herbals Cherry Body Lotion (Good one for winters 🙂 Again Used up 2 Big Bottles :D)

for me,the best was Nivea express hydration…
I have very normal skin…
I am using Bath And Body Works Malibu Heat Body Lotion.
I bet if you use it once, people will ask you which perfume you are using as it smells just amazing!!!!!!
Apart from that I use Garnier Body Cocoon.
Bad Experience has been Lakme Perfect Radiance Day Cream… Its just so thick and make my face awfully white and patchy.. 🙁
I have regular skin. My favourites will have to be the Vaseline one and the recent purchase from Marks&Spencer – The Pomegranite one.
only had good experience–
TBS Strawberry Body Lotion
TBS Passion Fruit Body Butter
and the one which never lets me down – Vaesline! 🙂
btw, dont know how feasible this is but a run down on the IMBB’s best and worst this year in terms of skincare, makeup etc would also be good 🙂

Victoria Secret Body Butter (Love Spell, Pure Seduction, Sweet Daydream, Endless Love) ..they all are my fav 🙂
worst was Bath&Body Works Amethyst body cream….it doesn’t moisturize at all …within 4 hours my skin felt super dry 🙁

I have normal to dry skin –
For summer’s TBS Sweet Lemon whip body lotion, Vaseline healthy white, yardly English lavender moisturizing lotion. All the three leave beautifully fragranced, non sticky, moisturized skin.
For winter’s TBS Shea butter lotion, Dove indulgent moisturizing Shea body lotion, TBS peppermint cooling foot lotion for dry, cracked feet. Dove can feel a little thick on application, but once absorbed they stay moisturized for hours. 🙂
On the wish list Vaseline cocoa body lotion. So many hits for it on imbb!
i have dry skin and fav is vaseline and worst is nivea……
i have combination skin, oily on tzone, acne prone..for me vaseline healthy white works superb on my skin..haven’t tried the worst 😛

BTW… Do not use Vaseline petroleum jelly on lips, dark kar deta hai… tried and tested by me and many people around…..
