How are you doing today? How was your “Karvachauth?” Anyway, here’s my first Burberry makeup product and I am quite happy with this luxurious product. Burberry needs no introduction since we all know how luxurious these makeup products. Considering the fall season, I picked two gorgeous high shine and pearly shades, and today, I will share my favorite berry pink shade with you.  So, please read on to know more about Burberry Kisses Plum Pink No- 97 Lip Gloss!

A moisturizing, lightweight, non-sticky gloss that delivers a buildable wet shine lip look.  This gloss glides across the lips for a fuller-looking, blossoming effect. The buildable formula creates a mirror-like shine that starts with a subtle, dewy veil of color and intensifies to a ripe wet look. Lips are hydrated and continuously kissable with zero stickiness. Kisses Gloss is available in 28 runway-inspired shades and multiple finishes from high shine to pearly and sparkling.

My Experience with Burberry Kisses Gloss No. 97 Plum Pink:

This gloss comes in a transparent glass tube packaging with the signature Burberry pattern grey cap. I simply adore its flexible doe-foot applicator which evenly coats my lips without any feathering or streaky finish. It does have a significant fragrance which I love; I simply admire its simply yet elegant packaging which might need special care during travelling.

Coming over my shade “Plum Pink,” as the name suggests, is one of the most gorgeous berry pink lip colors that I have ever come across. The shade gives an instant boost of pink glow to my face. I find it perfect for fair/pale/medium skin tones. It is a creamy, shimmer-free gloss with high glossy shine which can be topped on any matte, semi-matte lip stain or lip color to add to that glam factor.

Moreover, it is pigmented enough to be worn alone comfortably though beauties with deeply pigmented lips might want to use a lip liner prior to using this semi-opaque lip gloss. I mean it does give intense color payoff in just two swipes, but it maintains subtle translucency in the finish, which might be a bit tricky on pigmented lips. However, I see that it is quite forgiving if you have dry lips as it comfortably sits on top of the lips without accentuating dryness or settling into the lip lines.

The texture of the gloss is also perfect, neither thick or sticky nor runny but perfect to smoothly glide on my lips without any feathering or uneven finish. Moreover, it comes up as an intense berry pink gloss with soft yet significant shine on the lips which stays put for good 4-5 hours.

I am also impressed to notice that it hydrates my lips so well that I do not feel the need to use any lip balm even after taking it off. In fact, it gives a decent plumping effect on my lips with its juicy wet shine finish as per their claims.

Needless to say, the gloss is a luxurious treat for lips in every sense, right from the pigmentation to its hydrating soft finish.

I will wholeheartedly recommend this shade and brand to you all, especially for winters, as it will keep your lips well hydrated throughout the day, with buildable color payoff. I will definitely get this shade again while I am all set to get more shades from this range I love this particular range.

• Luxurious, creamy, shimmer-free, deep pink shade of berry.
• Suitable for every age group and all skin tones.
• Pigmented enough to be worn alone, on lightly pigmented lips, it adds that oomph factor when worn with any matte pink lip stain/color.
• Buildable color payoff in just two swipes with no feathering or settling into lip lines.
• Does not sit on top of dry lip patches, does not accentuate minor lip flaws.
• Hydrating enough, keeps lips soft and supple for 5-6 hours.
• Stays on for 5-6 hours even with light meals/snacks; leaves a soft pink sheen on the lips which looks really beautiful.
• Non-sticky texture, perfect consistency gloss, medium coverage.
• Attractive packaging.

Cons of Burberry Kisses Gloss No. 97 Plum Pink:

• The gloss is not completely opaque, hence tricky on deeply pigmented lips.
• Glass packaging, not too safe to travel along with.

Well, other than these two minor concerns, I really don’t think there are any other issues with this gloss. I believe it is the best gloss in the market with its texture, staying power, finish, and of course the shade. I just can’t stop at just two shades, I need more 😛
