I am reviewing two products in this post – Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream and Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream.
First product that’s up for review is the Fresh Rose Deep Hydrating Eye Gel Cream. I have also reviewed the serum from the same range before and I really really enjoy using the whole combination of products from this range.
A lightweight gel-cream infused with soothing rosewater and nourishing rose flower oil that delivers intense 24-hour moisture* for petal-soft skin. *Instrumental test on 10 subjects.
My Take on Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream:
So, I pretty much finished using the entire jar of the rose hydrating gel. It has a very gel-like hydrating consistency. I have normal to dry skin, so it used to add that boost of freshness and moisture in my skin. I would say that it is not enough if you have very dry skin, but for normal to dry skin, I think it was very good in combination with the serum because it used to really keep the skin really hydrated, moist, and supple. It is a great great everyday moisturizer, something that I would happily purchase any given day. You know if I have to repurchase this product, I would do it. I have finished using a jar of it, and that pretty much shows and speaks of how much I like this cream.
It’s not heavy on the skin, your skin kind of drinks it up quickly. Even if I use it at night, my skin never felt dry when I would wake up in the morning. This product has something called hydro patches that form a protective moisturizing veil to help attract and retain the moisture. It has rose water, which is soothing for the skin. It also has plum seed oil to help hydrate the skin. Another ingredient of note is hyaluronic acid, so this one is a real hydrating cream. If you are somebody who feels lack of hydration in her skin, who has not enough suppleness, or if your skin looks dry and parched, this is the product to go for. It does not smell very strongly of roses. It has a mild smell of roses and it feels very fresh on the skin. It is not heavy, not very oily, it gets soaked in easily.
It is also great to use before your foundation, because it adds just enough hydration and makes for a perfect base for your foundation to go on to. It is just absolutely great, in fact I have used it all through the winters, so it pretty much speaks for itself. My skin is normal to dry, but I need to use heavier creams in winters, but I never felt the need to use a heavier cream because I was using the serum and cream to in combination and it throughout fine. I really recommend it, so 4.5/5. The only downside is that it’s not not available in India.
Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream:
So, the second product that I am reviewing is Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream. It is an under-eye gel cream and it’s an excellent product, as good as the moisturizer. The texture is very similar except I feel that the texture of the under-eye cream is slightly heavier than the face cream, but I think it totally works that way. It also includes hyaluronic acid which helps in maintaining the moisture. It also has cucumber extract which helps in cooling and calming the skin. It feels so good under the skin, it’s one of the best creams that I have used and I can’t really compare to any other cream that I have used because sometimes when you use gel eye cream under the eyes, the moisturization that it imparts is not good enough. This product is a perfect mix between a gel and cream, if you know what I mean. It’s just like perfection, it does not feel heavy underneath the eyes. The under eye area kind of soaks up the product, they look refreshed. It makes the under-eye area ready for concealer application. If you know your under eyes are looking tired or dry, you know you need the hydration, and this is what this eye cream does. It does what it is meant to do. It also includes rose water and rose oil to help nourish ands soothe the under-eye area.
It never gave any milia around my eyes. It never felt heavy. I would say it just felt very lightweight underneath the eyes. Sometimes, I don’t feel heavy under eye creams. I just want them to do their job and soak the cream, and this is what this product does. I wouldn’t say that it has helped with my under-eye circles, or all of that, nothing of that sort. I am a very regular user of under-eye cream and I don’t have heavy under eye circles, but I have under-eye bags because I work so much on laptop and I am on phone, that my eyes do get very tired and they do get dry, they do need that moisture continuously, and this eye cream just checked all the boxes in keeping my eyes supple, soft, hydrated, nourished, and not looking tired all the time. It’s everything that I want in a good eye cream. and I love the basic simple packaging, it comes in a white, simple basic pot packaging. It is a good overall eye cream. You cannot really pinpoint on what it does, but you just know it’s working and that it is good. It’s not available in India and rating 4/5. I love it and I would definitely repurchase.
