Sanjeevji…..aise nahin ho sakta…….I can break the fast into three or four installments,EMI jaise…..7 days mein 24 hours fasting…waise idea boora nahin hain :smug:

Happy Karva Chauth everyone! How is everyone decked up? Me toh got up in the morning and fully decked up for work…will change for the Puja in the evening and then again for dinner at night…And then gifts….yippppieeee! hihihihihi, Indian festivals are so awesome!

Wearing sarree Red+green its my first na…….
Once i was in Simla on the day of Karvachauth…..5 yrs back. Dat was the 1st time i had a glimpse into what Karvachauth is all abt…loved it. Esp in the simla mall, at that height, all beautiful women in red sarees and husbands, mostly in suits…some of them even had their kids in a tow..all gorgeous..waiting for the moon to show up……..we Bengalis dont have this fasting, so never knew so much abt it…..apart from what we see in movies and soaps…it was a lovely experience…

I took leave today from office.my 1st Karwa Chauth after marriage and the rain and weather here in Hyderabad making me feel lazy and cozy with cough and cold. i am too excited for the gift which my husband will give me (surprise surprise).
between i am such a foodie its really difficult to control 🙂

I so much wanted to do it but not doing it as mom in law said there is some ” do maas” this year so one should not start any new puja… therefor I can’t start Karwachauth this year.
And last year I was returning from US on the same day so missed doing this fast…
Hope will start it from next year….
Here in Andamans also.. I am the only one fasting.. so opened my lappy.. did a google search on Karvachauth Pooja ki Kahaani and read it to my maids. Got all decked up..
My hubby asked me if I wanted a gift and I said ‘nahi swami.. mere liye to aap hi gift hain..’.. 😀
LOL…that is the cutest thing i have heard! Unfortunately for him, my hubby never gets a no from me as far as gifts are concerned ;P
I also did a search yesterday to find out about KC shopping and the things required, this is my 3rd but I keep forgetting the stuff required.

Happy Karwachauth, I am wearing for day a patiyala suit in orange peach and for pooja anarkali in fuchsia yellow. Lehenga will be next yr after marriage. already got surprise gifts yesterday from my guy 🙂 i am super happy and excited
