This is Sharvari- Originally from Aamchi Mumbai currently in Melbourne Australia. The pictures attached are from my sisters wedding on 2009 dec.
The first picture is the back of my choli- the choli has been designed by me, it’s been stitched with three brocade materials. The back with green brocade sleeve magenta brocade fabric that has koyris as design on it, the front was dull matt finish gold. The saree I wore is georgette- satin mix fabric in dark deep green with heavy embroidery work on palla.. I just love this saree.
The second pic is a full length pic of the saree just after the chic from the parlor draped it for me.
I had colored my hair used three shades- two shades of red and one shade of brown. Got it done from Lakme.

Thanks Ankita…..the set im wearing was a one gram gold one….its also got polki look….i frequent this place in pare market (Mumbai ) called Kangan…he keeps really unique sets ….I think that the saree looks different in yellow light vs daylight 🙂 thanks again
