I love trying out different lip balms and stocking them up is my hobby. I never stay loyal to one or two products and keep trying newer ones. Today, I am reviewing Khadi Natural Lime Lip Balm. Let’s see how this one fared for me.

My Experience with Khadi Lime Lip Balm:

The lip balm comes in a little transparent tub like most of the other lip balms from Khadi. It has a clear screw-on lid. The tub has a white safety cover. The tub has a sticker wrapped around it, which bears all product related details. The tiny tub is leak-proof and easy to carry. The tub packaging is not very hygienic as there are chances of contamination of the product. So, sanitizing the hands is a must with such products. So, I avoid carrying such lip balms while travelling or when I am outside.

The lip balm looks light yellow in color in the tub. It has no tint or color into it. It is just a clear lip balm. Though, I am not much in love with non-tinted lip balms, as they do nothing to hide the pigmentation of my lips. But, I still found it to be a nice lip balm considering its quality and price. The lip balm has a mild and refreshing citrus fragrance, which is quite refreshing. The smell is totally non-bothering. The lip balm has no SPF. Only a few lip balms from Khadi come with SPF.

I was very disappointed with Khadi Lavender and Spearmint lip balms due to their consistency. They have a tendency to melt in hot climate. I am glad that this lip balm has a better consistency. It does not melt. The lip balm has a thick consistency. It does not spill from the tub and hence, it does not make the tub dirty. The formula is lightweight and comfortable. It is absolutely non-sticky. The lip balm spreads easily all over the lips.

The lip balm serves its purpose well. It stays on my lips overnight and keeps them healthy and nourished. It has really good moisturizing properties. It moisturizes my lip very well and stays for approx. 2 hours. The lip balm does not survive any eating or drinking. So, frequent reapplications are required. But, I don’t mind reapplying it.

Overall, the lip balm just works like a normal lip balm or like a petroleum jelly. There is nothing much extraordinary in this lip balm. We cannot expect more at this price point. It works pretty fine.
