L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Praline Crystal Review
Hello IMBB Beauties,
I believe all fellow contributors will agree with me on the fact that the comments keep us going. We love to read the comments and personally I do not mind if people come up with suggestions and dupes (colored cosmetics). Also, I feel that is the essence of IMBB. Moving on, today, I am going to review a lipstick from L’Oreal Color Riche range, shade name is Praline Crystal, No. 340. This is more of a “warning” post, read on to know why:
Packaging:
L’Oreal Praline Crystal comes in muted gold packaging which looks very sophisticated. I really like the click shut packaging which gives me the assurance of carrying it safely in my handbag. The bullet has L’Oreal Paris embossed on it and the sticker at the bottom denotes the shade name and number. The color of the sticker is close to the shade inside which gives the ease of identification.
Finish:
L’Oreal Praline Crystal comes in frost finish with gritty glitters. The lipstick is pretty moisturizing though. The saddest part is once the color fades, the glitters stay behind and move all over the face, I am sure nobody would like to look like a disco ball with glitters all over the face.
Pigmentation:
One swipe of this lipstick and your lips are covered with the most sheer pink and lots and lots and lots of glitters. The color is not at all buildable, only you will add more glitters if you swipe more.
Staying Power:
Very poor. About an hour or so, then what stays back is only glitters. Even after removing with a makeup remover, the glitters will stick to your lips and irritate you, grrrrr!
My Experience with L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Praline Crystal:
I am very sad about L’Oreal Praline Crystal. This was brought as a gift by my mom on her trip abroad. Personally, she is fond of frost finish, but this one turned out to be a dud. Only one way to wear it is to apply over a dark color to tone down the intensity. Nothing much to say, dud dud dud!

Rs. 690-720 for 4.7 gm.

loved the pics rashmita. I am also not too fond of frosty lipsticks.. guess you could just use it on the centre of your bottom lip. Sad it turned out to be such a dud!!! 🙁

Aww.. its unfortunate to review duds that too with loreal.. 😛 I never came across this shade strange, but now i’ll totally ignore if i notice it by any chance.. :)!! it really looks a dud shade on swatches, though pics were great!! gud one dear..!!

Friends!!! 😛 .this loreal lipsticks is the worst in my collection. not easy to through in ib dustbin for its price.but you can mix it with plum passion or other very dark shades.then you can use it.
