I am in search of a good foundation. After hearing a lot about Lotus Herbals Ecostay and Purestay, I was fully convinced to buy that. However as days passed by, I saw the nice ones in MAC, Clinique, Bourjois, Maxfactor etc. I have combination and pigmented skin. So, not sure which to buy and how to decide. Till date, I have not found a perfect shade for myself and I want to buy a nice mascara too. Please suggest!

Try MAC for foundation…they have lots of shades available…i have combination skin and i use MAC studio fix powder foundation…it works amazingly well…!!
For Mascara i use maybelline colossal…!!

Check out MAC and Clinique foundations. The best thing about these two brands is that they have a lot of shades and you would be able to find your match easily. You can also try the foundations on you before buying, just ask the MUA to help you out with finding what’s best for you from their ranges. Clinique SAs are very helpful and will happily test out foundations on you. Another favourite foundations is Bourjois healthy mix foundation. Lotus Herbals purestay/ecostay is a lightweight foundation, gives a good finish to the skin, however, if you want something for pigmented skin, do check out Clinique and MAC first. Clinique’s Even Better Foundation and makeup compact are favourites of mine.
hey Jomol.. i am so sorry for the late reply.. as you said, i tried in clinique store and loved the colors.. i have bought the even better foundation.. 🙂 the SA was insisting me to buy the 3 step routine and pigment removing lotion.. though i did not buy.. m planning to buy *haan ji* thanks a lot for your help.. *puchhi*
For mascara……the best options according to me are : L’Oreal Million lashes mascara, Maxfactor mascara, and Maybelline’s falsies mascara.

Lakme Absolute face stylist foundation,Clinique Stay matte foundation and MAC Matchmaster foundation are good for combination/oily and pigmented skin. I absolutely adore these.
Coming to mascaras, L’Oreal Million lashes mascara and Maybelline Falsies are my favourites. Hope this helps *hifive*

I don’t have combination skin, so can’t suggest you on this but for mascara try Colorbar zoom and whoosh mascara or Loreal 3D one.
