Hi All,
In May I have my cousin’s wedding and I am planning to wear dark green lehanga, which has copper and maroon work on it..Please tell me some easy makeup tips to do as I am novice in makeup and all thanks to everyone here now I love doing it. And reading your posts, Mrun and jomol are my favourites here. I am attaching my pics for reference.Thanks.
hey r r pretty……………and i like ur hair style……….. :waytogo: i have also deep green sari ………….but remeber pls. dont put so much greenish eye make up…..its make you heavy and dull………..only just put light pink/purple/coper color eye shadow and for green look you can use only grren eye line………….. :toothygrin:
Hi- green with maroon and copper sounds like a like combination..
I am thinking very tone downed colors like peach or a light pink wud work well for an eyeshadow and lipstick. my choice for eyeliner would be black. mascara definitely in black, the blush would be a light pink too or perhaps a light bronzer/gold dust type color..when the outfit has so much going on, its better to go less garish with the makeup..i am assuming there will be some jewelry in the form of bangles, earrings etc so..
was just thinking that a flower to one side of the hair would look good especially since you have long hair which you can wear to one side (got the idea from one of the summer looks and the pin that you are wearing 😉 )

I think you are the same complexion as mine….atleast from pictures I can make out so
I would suggest to get a nice copper e/s (M.A.C Bronze or Amberlights) and apply on the lids and with a dark brown matte e/s smoke and blend the outer V of the lids. Highlight your brow bones with a light close to ur skinetone shimmery e/s (for me it is M.A.C Naked lunch).
You can apply a jade green liner on upper lashline and black kajal on upper and lower waterline…..smudge it a little on lower lashline and set with black e/s.
You can use a nice all over face highlighter and contour your cheeks with a peachy plum blush. Colorbar blush in ‘Just Earth’ is good for contouring.
Lips I always suggest for a nude lip colour and plump with a nice gloss. You can try Maybelline Color sensational lipstick in ‘Autumn Rush’.
Do wear lots of matching bangles and long chunky earrings. :victory2: :victory2: :victory2: :victory2: :victory2: :victory2: :victory2: :victory2:

i wud suggest u go for a copper eye that can double up as an eye shadow as well….
and make ur eyes a bit heavy but keep your lips lighter…
try avoiding green in makeup…. it may end up looking OTT…

Primer your can use your ‘concealer set with compact’ also….since other primers will be costly.
Concealer you can try Revlon Photoready. Base make-up is good then everything on top of it will look good :))
Blush you can check Colorbar…..its just 250/-
Highligher you can try Colorbar…its for 425/- or something or Avon face pearls are also nice…they are also for 499/-
Mascara you must try Avon Supershock 299/- or Superextend 385/-…..very nice and economical
