Sanjeev and I have been visiting Moets Sizzlers for past 5-6 years. It is a small food joint located in the Defence Colony Market, Delhi. Even after visiting the place so frequently for past so many years, we haven’t got bored of it. In fact, if we don’t visit Moets Sizzlers atleast once in a month, we start feeling uneasy. 😛 By now the staff there also knows us. So even when people are waiting for their turns to get a seat in the restaurant, the staff manages to accommodate us . lolll!
The best thing about Moets Sizzlers is that no matter when you visit it , nothing changes. Everything remains the same- staff, food, menu, music, ambiance…not even the little red flower on the table.
The ambiance is very simple but tastefully done.
Mostly the decoration is done with small wrought iron pieces such as kettle, cages,trumpets, bicycle wheels etc.
On walls you’ll see small framed posted of Obama,American Milkman, beer bottles etc.
That’s the main menu. Each sizzler costs around 300-350 bucks. The best tip I can give you for going to this place is – Visit Hungry. 😉
The menu never changes. They have limited things on their menu but you can order anything blindly. You’d never be disappointed.
It gets very cold in evenings here. So I started with a hot tomato soup.
DON’T forget to order their Garlic Bread. They make one of the best Garlic bread in the whole world. I had a major ego issue about it. For some time I ordered Garlic bread at every place I visited. I have given up. :jaiho: They make the best. They serve only one kind of Garlic bread – 5 Garlic bread slices in a cute cane basket.
Every bite is crunchy. Even the last slice stays crunchy and perfect.
You can order alcohol as well in Moets Sizzlers . According to my hubby, no one can beat them in the quality of the soda they serve.
They serve amazingly healthy sizzlers. Yesterday I ordered cubed vegetable sizzler. It is mostly served on a bed of rice but I get my rice separated so that I can control the quantity of rice I want to eat.
Sizzlers are served smokin’ hot on sizzler trays. Cubed vegetable Sizzler has mixed veggies with cubed paneer pieces and lots of sizzler sauce.
Sanjeev’s favourite is Moet’s Special. It’s a Chicken Steak sizzler with boiled vegetables, french fries flamed with red wine.
Separate rice plate.
Sizzler sauce. Just in case your sizzler tends to get dry while you are still eating.
The place is mostly crowded , especially during evening hours but the food is such that everyone is engrossed in their own world. The voices around you don’t bother you. The place is small so mostly the butlers are always available at your service.
So that was Moets Sizzlers.
Right across the street there is a flauda wala who stands with his matka kulfis. You can’t miss that. 🙂 Rs 60/- a plate and you’d be left longing for it if you visit a little later than around 10 pm.
The bill without alcohol would come around Rs 800-900 for two.
Rating for Moet’s Sizzlers : 5/5 for everything.
We are yet to find a place as perfect as this. The only reason you won’t like this place is if you don’t like sizzlers only.

I love Sizzlers! They’re absolutely my favorite restaurant food (and so much healthier than normal cream based mughlai food or cheesy, carby Italian). Too bad you can’t get a decent sizzler around here 🙁

they make awesome stuffed vegetable sizzler also. Infact if you like paneer, they have sizzlers for that also. They have more varieties for non veggies but whatever they have for eveggies they are great at it. :))
