My Experience with Not Your Mother’s Beat The Heat Thermal Shield Spray:

This thermal spray comes in a sleek cylindrical bottle with a pump spray. The bottle looks super cute and girly. I loved how quirky they have kept the packaging; it would surely grab a lot of attention. The bottle is very handy and can be used during travels too. The price is pretty cheap as well since most thermal sprays from other brands are very expensive, but what I have not liked about this product is that the very first ingredient is alcohol which might not be great for our hair.

The consistency is just like water. A few sprays are good enough for my thin hair. It does not feel sticky initially, but feels sticky later on if you spray it on dry hair. I always make it a point to spray little by little, only on damp hair. On dry hair, it feels a bit sticky since I do not have much volume.

This hair spray has a fruity scent and lingers around nicely in the hair for a long time, but not everyone would like the scent for sure.

It adds a lot of silkiness and shine when I apply it on my wet hair. On my dry hair, it does not make any difference. It does provide thermal protection but to a limited extent. If you expect this to act as a shield and protect your hair all the time no matter how much you blow-dry or straighten it, then it will not work that way. It does work but not thoroughly. A little damage is inevitable. But yes, it keeps my hair straight for a longer time as compared to before and makes it look sleek and manageable too.

Would I Repurchase Not Your Mother’s Beat The Heat Thermal Shield Spray?
No, I don’t think so. I have used better heat protectant sprays and this did not work that well for me since I have thin hair. I would call this to be a skip from my side ☹
