I am writing  a review after a gap. Actually, I haven’t purchased any major products lately. However, I have a few products which I have to review, but due to my laziness I couldn’t. I wrote the article for this product last month in office, but clicking of photos was pending which I did yesterday. 😀 😀

Today I will be reviewing a shade from NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss. This is my first product from NYX brand. I hadbought this for my mum as I don’t like this shade much for me. The shade is Deep Red. Let’s read further to know more about this Lip gloss.

What the product claims:

NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss has 36 pretty shades to highlight the sexy pucker of yours. Feels silky smooth, long lasting and the color in the bottle if the color on. A must-have for all sexy girls.

Packaging:-

The gloss comes in simple, long plastic tubes with a black cap. The sponge-tip applicator is slightly angled and pretty decent.

My experience with NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss Deep Red

As I have already told you that I am not a big fan of Lip glosses, but sometimes I feel like keeping one or two in my kitty. My last purchase was from L’Oreal shine gloss range. Those were light shade and perfect for me. Those bottles have finished up so thought of trying my hand on NYX lip glosses. I was looking for some pinks and oranges, but all were out of stock so ended up buying a shade for mum. The name is Deep red, but I don’t think this shade is red this is more of purple pink. In the bottle it seems to be deep red, but on application it is different. This lip gloss has no shimmer; they are soft and glide on smoothly. They don’t dry off my lips. I would also like to say that they are not pigmented.

I have heard that this range is super pigmented but the shade I have is not. I have to apply 2-3 coats of the gloss. After that also you can see fine lines in swatch pic. I didn’t like the way it appeared on my lips. The staying power is bad i.e. just about 2-3 hours. They can’t even survive small snacks and is transferable.

Overall, I didn’t like this gloss much,I won’t buy this shade again. My mum liked the color, but for her staying power is the issue because it doesn’t have staying power and on top of it; my mum licks her lips all the time and with that it hardly stays for 1-2 hours max. By the way it was looking good on my lips and stayed on for 3-4hours without meals. I would like to indulge in other shades as they are very cheap.

Cons of NYX Girls Round Lip Gloss _Deep Red

• I have to apply 2-3 times to get full color.
• It doesn’t stay for more than 2-3 hours.
• Not appropriate for office.
• Settles into fine lines

Recommendations:

I would recommend this to budget buyers only. If I am going to buy again, I may buy a shade from the family of pink.
