My Experience with NYX Professional Makeup Powder Puff Lippie Cream Best Buds:
Packaging:
The entire range comes in a pretty paper box with details information. Actually it’s a color coded squeeze tube which disperses the lipstick from a white pillowy cushion-applicator. This applicator looks very cute and helps to blend the color beautifully. If you want to create that ombre lips it will work great. But due to its round shape, it’s quite tricky to get that perfect precise application. I find this packaging very lightweight, easy to carry and travel friendly.
Shade:
The shade Best Buds is a beautiful peach pink n*de with a neutral tone. It looks extremely natural on lips and a perfect everyday shade. The shade is mostly suited on fair to medium skin tones. It will wash out on dusky beauties. Now the shade is decently pigmented that requires few swipes & provides good coverage too. Still I must say, this range can’t provide that bang on Pigmentation.
Texture and Quality:
Now, coming to its texture, it has super soft smooth formula that glides effortlessly on skin and feels like nothing on lips. It’s an extremely light weight and comfortable lipstick. I love its non patchy non drying texture. The formula settles down into a beautiful powdery finish but it’s not a drying formula. It keeps lips soft and hydrated for long that is good for dry lips too.
Though it sets into a powdery matte texture, the formula does transfer and can
smudge if I touch my lips. As this shade is very light so after a few transfers, it looks faded.
Staying Power:
As I already mentioned that it does fade a lot & after having a heavy meal as well. For this shade, the staying power is decent but not so great. It just lasts around 4-5 hours. Otherwise, it can survive normal snacks well and a reapplication is quite easy without any patchiness.
Overall:
Overall, I like this shade & the formula too, I only wish it stays better without any transfer.
