Outfit of the Day: Maxi with Motifs
Hello everyone!
This is the Outfit of the Day.
I wore this dreamy maxi-dress in cream a few days back for a lunch date by the pool. I agree the weather suggests the opposite, but sitting next to the pool relaxes me unlike anything else.
Anyhow! This dress, as you may notice, has beautiful motifs all over. Therefore, it’s pretty much a complete look in itself. I added hints of gold through the chandelier earrings and glitter flat shoes. To give the look an Indian touch and some color, I added this jhola-bag, that I picked a long time back (which I later kept forgot to carry! 😛 )

I recently got a similar maxi which is so cute but i’m having quite a hard time finding what innerwear to wear. Leggings look really bad with it. Should I give it to alteration to make a lining underneath? Help me..

I understand how tricky it can be. Yea, that is a workable option, but there is always a risk of getting an improper fall. You could try wearing a separate skirt under it (like a petticoat or something). I have tried it, and it worked perfectly for me. Hope it helps! 🙂
