Pink Lace Dress

asos hot pink dress

The weather is getting a bit pleasant here in Delhi. I am totally enjoying wearing my summer blazers oflate. They keep me slightly warm whilst adding the chic quotient. πŸ˜€ I have this cute pink lace dress lying with me. I decided to work my outfit around the dress. I kept the look simple with just a single statement neckpiece and finished it off with a fitted black blazer (don’t miss the shoulder and button details πŸ˜€ )

Btw how is the day coming along for those who are fasting? I am feeling better now that I have all dolled up. πŸ˜€ But very thirsty and tired.Β

  1. Lurveed the deeply bright shade of the Dress & that Vintage Neckpiece is a killer…!! Am digging laces these days & thinking over how to sport ’em.. πŸ˜€

      1. That makes two of us..I used to have bundles of laces in diff colours & sizes in stock & used ’em in all possible ways when stitched my own clothes. One layered skirt of mine made frm scratch became highly famous..which I made frm diff leftover pieces of cloth of same shade (pink+white) ..all layeres were given decent finish by white chicken lace…& huge lace at the bottom.. πŸ˜€ But yet to own an attire totally made frm the lace..Hoping to find a lovely one in next India Trip.. πŸ™‚

        1. omgggg!! that sounds really nice. You used to stich your own clothes? *jaiho* stitching was something that never caught hold of my fancy. but girl you are way too talented. :))

          1. To be honest…the word ‘talented’ can be replaced by ‘fussy’…I used to be way too fussy @ everything…so learnt cooking+stitching+embroidery+painting+self-beautification & bla bla..so that I can fulfill my needs the way I want & dun have to be dependent on outsourcing… πŸ˜›

      1. Rati,me too love ur heels..as u said i started with kitten heels and my mom keept scaring me dat i wud endup with back pain..and now i suffer a little with bckpain.i cannot conclude its the heels dats causing pain..still I switched completely to flats these days.. πŸ™

  2. Oooooh too much hotness I say! Love the dress Rati, I am totally digging skater dresses these days, just bought a grey one. Pink looks lovely on you, makeup or clothing…I guess thats definitely ur color πŸ™‚
Acha listen, ASOS reminds me, I ordered a dress from them for the first time and it never reached me, they refunded the money though…but I was so sad I didn’t get it πŸ™

    1. aarbee, with asos you can never be sure actually. i have paid heavy customs and that sucks. :(( but most of the time stuff reaches and the customer care is really nice. so … but i can imagine. sometimes when you want something, a refund does not help. :((

Thanks. :)) I love skater dresses myself. I love how sleek and feminine they look.

  3. Oh! This look is so awesome!!!!! You lookin’ fab!!! πŸ˜‰ *flying kiss*
And I so had my eyes on that neck-piece! Feel like pinching myself now, for not having bought it before!!!! *buhhoooo*

  8. Teej Vrat.. awww.. sooo sweet and that too without food/water/sleep for 24 hrs? You need a pat on the back for this. My aunt fasts like this on Karvachauth.. but I cant even dream of doing this. I simply fast without food till evening on karva.. and Sanjay gets all this gushy-mushy.. feeling ki his biwi is fasting for him. But it feels good to me as Sanjay also fasts with me.. πŸ˜€

Coming to your OOTD.. you look adorable, as usual. I am going mad for two things today – the blazer and the neck piece! You know what Rati.. a fashion dud like me didnt even know ki blazers can be styled like this.. I always used to think ki blazers go only with trousers. Thanks to u guys.. I am learning a lot. ANd heyyyy.. am losing weight! πŸ˜€ so may try out these fashion tips soon.

I eagerly wait for the updates from this blog as it has really helped me to learn taking care of myself. Thanks a ton for coming up with this great idea. πŸ™‚

  11. I just read the last few comments./ Thank you everyone. πŸ™‚

Nats, i’d never have ‘what not to wear’ version. My mantra is wear whatever you like. If you can pull it off and are comfortable in what you are wearing, nothing else matters. i think the bigger picture should be having fun dressing up. Women tend to forget that part more often. :))
