My Experience with Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss – Shade#33:

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a sleek black matte finish packaging. The cap has the Rimmel logo engraved on the top and a print of Kate Moss’s signature.

The packaging looks quite classy and it’s sturdy as well. The cap shuts tight and you can easily travel with it in your bag. Since the packaging is completely opaque, you need to look at the bottom of the lipstick to find out which shade it is.

Shade: Shade #33 is a milky light pink. This shade is too cool toned to suit Indian skin tones. The first thought that came to my mind when I had tried this lipstick was that it’s the kind of shade which Nicki Minaj would wear :P; surely, it’s not not my cup of tea.

Texture, Finish, Pigmentation: The lipstick glides quite smoothly on the lips and you do not need to tug at it at all. The finish is semi-matte and has a nice sheen. This lipstick does not feel drying on the lips and you do not need to apply any lip balm underneath.

Since this is a light shade, two swipes are needed to get full opacity. Layering does not make the application patchy or cakey.

Bright pink lipstick

Staying Power: This is not a transfer-proof lipstick and transfers easily on to cups and glasses. I have not yet dared to wear this lipstick outside my house and have applied it only indoors and that too for review purpose 🙂 It definitely does not stay for 8 hours as advertised and stays for around 3-4 hours.

Pros of Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss – Shade #33:

Glides smoothly on the lips.
Decently pigmented.
Does not feel drying on the lips.
Classy packaging.
Very affordable.

Cons of Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss – Shade #33:

This particular shade will not suit Indian skin tones.
The claim of 8 hours of staying power is not exactly true.

The lipstick is a good quality one, but the color itself might not appeal to all. So, decide for yourself by checking out the swatches. I will not repurchase the same shade.
