Every girl loves to straighten and blow-dry their hair. It gives an outstanding look to your hair. But we always frown looking at the after effects of straightening and blow-drying. So today I am going to review this heat protection spray from Schwarzkopf called “Schwarzkopf GLISS”.I almost straighten my hair three times a week even after rebonding done because I really like pokey straight hair. But now I have considerably reduced straightening my hair. I don’t invest much on my hair except for the hair products like shampoos, conditioners, serums, sprays, masks etc, oh my god this was too much actually. I cut my own hair, do hair spa, rebonding, hair colour everything at home itself ,but this is a must have for all you ladies who love experimenting with their hair.
Price: Rs.350 (200 ml)
Do you want to protect your hair from heat damages? The formula with heat-protect system protects your hair effectively, provides moisture and cares without overweighing, smoothens hair and reduces frizz. Heat protection up to 220°C.
If used with a blow-dryer, spray evenly on towel dried hair and then blow dry. The same goes with a hot iron: dry hair completely , then spray and straighten.
This heat protection spray is just like water, you feel as if you are spraying water to your hair. Although it smelled little bit like a nail polish remover 😉 .This does not help to detangle your hair or make it silky smooth, it just does the job of a heat protectant . But it totally protects my hair against heat and I am very happy with it. But when I first spray it and straighten my hair my hair becomes really very stiff but comes to a proper shape when I comb it out and certainly all the stiffness is removed. I have seen that my hair damage has reduces a lot as compared to when I was not using this product. It also controls frizz of my ends for a very long time. The hair are damaged from inside but that damaged look of your hair is reduced. It is super conveniently designed in a spray bottle where you do not have to open a cap or something. But the bottle is too big length-wise and it will occupy a lot of space in your bag when you want to carry it out of town or somewhere. Also there are no chances of leakage which u might face with other heat protectants or serums. Once I sprayed it by mistakenly in my eyes but it did not sting in my eyes like the other sprays. As the name says “Total repair”, it does not really repair the damaged hair or split-ends or something but just protects your hair. The only way to remove the damage is to get a trim which none of us like.
Also there is this white colour twisty kind to a thing which is used to open and close. The price is also pretty cheap as compared to other heat protectant sprays like Toni&Guy and TIGI Bed head.

Would I recommend Schwarzkopf Gliss Total Hair Repair Heat Protection Spray?
Yes I will recommend this to all those girlies who straighten and blow-dry your hair regularly, it will protect your hair superbly.
I will like to repurchase it but still I am a little confused between this one and l’oreal studio silk and gloss spray as the l’oreal one detangles my hair as well as gives a glossy shine and smoothens my hair too. But I should say that this one protects my hair far better than the l’oreal one.
