I picked both the shower gel and the body gel lotion from the Verbena range by The Face Shop as I fell in love with the fragrance with one sniff. On trying the gel lotion I was surprised to feel the unique texture and that is why it was added to the shopping cart.

My Experience with The Face Shop Verbena Soothing Body Gel Lotion:
The gel lotion comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a dispensing pump which comes real handy. The pump is of good quality as the quantity dispensed can be controlled. The details about the product are mentioned on the back of the bottle. Since the pump head cannot be locked it is no way travel friendly.
The texture of the body gel is unique. It is completely transparent and only a bit of the product goes a long way as it spreads like dream. It is very much like the aloe gel but lighter and spreads better. It is not enough moisturizing for the extremely dry skin, but it is definitely a good option for my normal skin, especially for the summers. The only thing I dislike about this is the mild stickiness that lingers for a while before getting fully absorbed.
When paired with the shower gel from the same range, the fragrance stays for 2-3 hours which is pretty good as the gel lotion is very lightweight. It smells fresh and floral but not too overpowering to disturb the sensitive nose. It is a refreshing fragrance for the summers when you want something light and energizing.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend The Face Shop Verbena Soothing Body Gel Lotion?
Repurchase – nope.
Recommend – it has a lovely texture but I personally do not like the initial stickiness, so I would not really recommend it. If you can ignore that, then it is definitely good for the summers.
