I am here with another IMBB sponsored review of the highly raved about Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing Lip gloss in the shade – Beso.
I remember when Urban decay launched it so famous Naked eye pallets the whole beauty community went gaga over it and to keep up with that popularity Urban Decay launched a whole line of Naked products which includes Face and lip makeup.
About the product:
What it is:
A luxurious gloss and a rich lip balm in one.
What it does:
This super nourishing gloss has an addictively creamy texture and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Perfect for complementing the always-popular UD smoky eye, the Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss feels so luxe that you’ll want to keep applying it all day. The makeup junkies at Urban Decay painstakingly crafted this formula, obsessing over every last detail until it was just right. Laced with ingredients that are good for your skin, this formula includes Hyaluronic Filling Spheres™, vitamin E, avocado oil, and shea butter to hydrate and condition lips. Rosehip seed oil provides an extra hit of vitamins, including vitamins A and C.
What it is formulated WITHOUT:
What else you need to know:
The bottle features a gorgeous, highly metalized champagne cap and overshell with a cool “Naked” cutout effect. As pretty as it is, it’s also practical. You can see the shade through the “Naked” cutout and the little window at the bottom (so it’s easy to spot the right shade in your bag). The extra long, flocked paddle applicator also picks up a generous amount of gloss for even color.
In a clinical study of 30 participants who used Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss:*
– 86% of participants had a significant improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles
– 76% had a significant improvement in volume and hydration
– 86% said their lips felt nourished.

My Experience with Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing Lip Gloss – Beso
I wasso highly excited about this product as I am a huge fan of Urban Decay products, and when I got it I couldn’t wait to just dive into it and apply it. I have used this lip gloss so many times now and I have to say this is my newest favorite and the most reached for lip gloss from my collection.
I am so head over heels in love with the packaging of this gloss. It so luxurious and classy looking. It has very shiny rose gold plastic tube with the word Naked engraved into it. It also has a peak of the color of the gloss at the base of the tube which makes it so much easier to identify it among many other tubes in your vanity. The tube is not at all heavy and is very sturdy.
The shade I have is Beso which is described as “ deep pink mauve”. I initially got this shade out of all others as I saw that this one had the deepest and most pigmented color of them all. And I am glad that I got this shade since it does apply sheer but not so sheer that the color doesn’t show up. I still get color on my lips with one swipe and that is all I need. It can be worn alone or on top of a lipstick. Since the color is sheer you can still see the shade of your lips (which may be a disadvantage if you have super pigmented lips) or if you happen to have worn a lipstick underneath it. It does not have any shimmer or glitter particles.
It has a thin doe foot wand applicator which makes application very easy and precise.
Texture/Feel on lips:
This lip gloss feels highly comfortable on the lips. They are not at all sticky or very slippery feeling. You don’t have to worry about loads of hair sticking on your gloss if you happen to be out on a windy day. The lip gloss is not overly shiny hence does impart a very natural looking juicy lips.
When first applied there is a very slight minty cooling sensation which disappears within seconds. My lips do feel incredibly hydrated and smooth with this on and they do not accentuate or worsen my chapped lips if I do have them. My lips even stay hydrated for long time even after getting the product off at the end of the day. Hence they truly live up to the claim of being”ultra nourishing”
The lip gloss does transfer but a minimal amount. The glossy appearance stays looking fresh for 1-2 hours after which the shine starts to fade but I can still see the color on my lips. Overall a total staying power of the gloss would be 3- 4 hours. It does survive minimal snacking but will not survive a full meal.
It has very pleasant minty scent which is not to overpowering or overwhelming. When on the lips I can still smell the product but in a very faint whiffs.Overall Very pleased with this product and will recommend.
