Alberto Balsam Shower Wash With Lime And Guarana Extracts Review

Hello All,

I love to use different kinds of shower wash and gels for my bath. Recently I went to boots (yes!! The Christmas and New Year sale is still on :-)), I saw many British girls buying Alberto Balsam shower wash, and it was then when I thought ok lets try one. I bought the one with lime extracts because I love that lemony smell (I did not check anything else :-(). Let us read the review now.

Alberto Balsam Shower Wash

Price: £ 2.99 for 400ml (approx INR 240)

Packaging:
It comes in a see-through plastic bottle with a flip open cap. The packaging is leak proof.

Ingredients:
Alberto Balsam Shower Wash

How to use:
Lather up and rinse off. Try not to get in your eyes, if so rinse thoroughly with water.

Product Description:
Use this shower wash to enjoy the sensational fragrance and freshness of Alberto Balsam. Lime extract will smell fantastic and it is known for its smoothing benefits and guarana is known as a natural stimulant.

My take:
It is transparent in colour and is of very bad quality. I was expecting it will have some lemony smell, but it did not smell at all. It made my skin very dry and I was very disappointed. More ever it did not form much lather, even when I used loofah. Below is how it looks like. **insert pic swatch**

Pros:
• None (yes None)

Cons
• Has no smell at all.
• Not very cheap, I get other options like dove, nivea, pears in this range.
• Very dry and harsh for the skin.
• Contains so many chemicals.
• Forms no or very less lather.

Rating
0/5

Do I recommend?
Do I really need to answer this one? It was horrible and I promise from now onwards I will never pick up any product without seeing the ingredient list and also without getting influence my British girls :-). Fore sure I will never buy Alberto Balsam shower washes again in future.

Do you like to use Shower Wash or gels for your bath? Please let me know which one is your favourite.

Thanks
Shweta
