DIY Homemade Hand Sanitizer

Hello my darlings!

I am back with another DIY! How I love DIYs! They are so customizable, you know exactly what your adding, it’s totally upto you! Plus there are a million ways you could customize things. This hand sanitizer is free of chemicals. It is totally natural and surprisingly requires few ingredients! Let’s just jump into it!

Ingredients:

For the base, you can use pure Aloe Vera gel or glycerine.
Few drops of Vitamin E oil (Optional)
Essential Oil (You could use any Essential Oil)
Tea tree oil
Witch Hazel or High Proof Vodka or Isoproply Alcohol (Rubbing Alcohol)

Method:

1. Add in the Essential Oil with the tea tree oil and mix. (Tea Tree oil has a strong fragrance, that is why we are adding another essential oil to round off the strong smell)
2. Now add Vitamin E oil and mix again. Vitamin E oil helps you make your hands softer.

3. Add the witch hazel or high proof vodka or rubbing alcohol.
4. Finally add Aloe Vera Gel or Glycerine, which ever you use for the base and mix it well
5. Store it in a bottle with a pump so it can be used easily.
6. Shake the bottle before using the sanitizer.

Note:

1. Be careful while using Essential Oils because they are so concentrated and fragrant! If your allergic to it then skip it.

2. To find out whether you are allergic to Essential oils, mix a drop of it with coconut oil or any oil and apply it to a small patch on your hand. If no reaction occurs, go ahead and use them!
