EYE MAKEUP : WINGED EYELINER WITH SILVER EYESHADOW
I recently tried my hand at a winged eyeliner look which I wanted to share with you. This was done totally on impulse, I suddenly decided that I had really not seriously tried such a look before and since I had some time on my hands, I did this. Even though it looks really intense, I did it with minimal eye products.
Products used :
I first applied MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre all over the lid upto the brow bone as a base. It sets within a few seconds. Then I applied the Oriflame Illuminate Eye Crayon in Silver Frost on the eyelids just upto the crease. It’s a cream-based eye colour. Allowed it to set. Applied shade No. 3 (which is the silver shade) from the L’oreal Paris Color Appeal Trio eye shadow on top of the Oriflame cream eye shadow to give some more intensity. After that, applied Lakme Black Satin kajal on my lower lash waterline. Then, using the eyeliner brush which comes with the Maybelline gel eyeliner, lined my lower lash line real thick and made a line pointing upwards towards the end of the eyebrows. Using an Inglot eyeliner brush, applied the Maybelline gel eyeliner on the upper lash line starting thin at the corner and gradually increasing the thickness as I went outwards and made a line again pointing towards the end of the eyebrow. Then filled in the triangular gap. I did this upper lash line eyeliner application in two coats to give it real intensity. Did not use any highlighter or eyebrow pencil, as I didn’t want to ‘dilute’ the intense look, though next time I will use a nude or beige colour eyeshadow as a highlighter and also will use my MAC brow pencil in Fling.

Here is me, not looking very good I think, as this look was totally unplanned. I am wearing my favourite lipstick – Versace’s Lips V2707-L. It’s a beautiful bright purply-magenta colour.
Take care and have a great weekend.
