L’Oreal Forever Frappe 814 Infallible Lipstick Review

Continuing with the Infallible Range of L’Oreal lipsticks here is a beautiful unique shade for the brick/brown lovers. I guess Frappe is such a unique shade that you have to try this out at the store. This shade I believe is a new launch so the price is a bit higher. The other details remain the same, will only take you through the particular shade description.

Price – Rs 1050/- for 2.5gm

My Experience with L’Oreal Forever Frappe 814 Infallible Lipstick:-

The packaging is subtle yet elegant. The base is black with a color coded sticker mentioning the name and number of the lipstick. The cap fits in snugly which is again color coded and translucent. Quite chic and user friendly I must say. The plastic body is sturdy enough to be carried in the makeup pouch without fear of opening.

The texture of the lipstick is really smooth and creamy. It glides on like dream on the lips. The texture is such that it does not settle on the fine lines. Though initial application is like a cream lipstick, it settles to a moist matte finish after a while.

The staying power is 4-5 hours without lip liner. With a lip liner beneath the staying power increases to 7-8 hours. The lipstick does not vanish completely after a proper meal; there is no stain left behind which is a pro for me.

The shade is a unique brick brown with evident orange tones to it. This can be a very nice shade for the polished sophisticated look for the meetings. The shade is bright yet subtle, perfect for a lot of age groups. I can see myself wearing this with ethnic outfits as well owing to the richness of the shade.

Considering the texture and the uniqueness of the shade I think you have to check this shade out next time you are at the L’Oreal counter.
