My Experience with Makeup Revolution Electric Dreams Baked Eyeshadow:

The shadows come in a gorgeous glossy black palette with a clear lid, which enables us to see the colors in the palette from outside. The lid closes with a click making the palette travel friendly. The palette has the sticker at its base, mentioning some necessary details about this product. The palette comes with a tiny dual-ended applicator, which is too small and quite useless. I do not use these applicators and stick to my other eyeshadow brushes with better grip. The 5 gorgeous metallic shades are arranged in two rows. Overall, the packaging has no flaws. It is really nice and travel friendly.

I recently found out that I do not have purple eyeshadows in my collection. So, I decided to try this baked eyeshadow palette from Makeup Revolution. There are total 5 shades in this palette. All of these are shimmery and bright. These baked eyeshadows can be used both dry and wet. Though, all the shades are very decently pigmented; using these shadows in the wet form can intensity the color. One to two swipes are required to add an instant pop of color to the eyelids. All the shades are extremely pigmented and shimmery. They impart a nice velvety metallic finish.

Now, let’s discuss each shade in the palette one by one. The first one is a pearly white shimmery eyeshadow with lots of silver shimmer which makes it fit to be used as a highlighter. The second shade besides the white one is a true lilac shade with loads of shimmers. This shade has slightly lower pigmentation than other shades. In the next row, the first shade from left to right is a gorgeous bright purple color with so many shimmer, it’s less pigmented though and may require more than two swipes for the color to build up. The next shade is my favorite in the entire palette, it’s a bright purple-brown eyeshadow with great pigmentation and looks beautiful on the eyelids. This shadow is insanely pigmented and gives a nice pop to the eyes. The last shade is a shimmery violet eyeshadow, which is also nicely pigmented. The shimmer in all these shades are not all chunky. They add a nice luminous effect. Though, these are shimmery, but still none of them fall out.

The texture of the shadows is nice, soft, and smooth. It spreads evenly all over the lid without any dragging. They feel almost creamy and glide on like butter. It is very easy to blend the color. The eyeshadow never creases. These do not feel powdery or cakey. It sets to a nice satiny finish. The colors are easily buildable. These are not waterproof completely. The eyeshadow does not smudge at all even after hours of application and stays in place. When used wet, the eyeshadow lasts nicely for some 4-5 hours on my oily eyelids without any eye primer underneath though the color loses its intensity gradually with time. The eyeshadow is very easy to remove.

Overall, the eyeshadows are of good quality but the only one con for me in this palette is that the shades are almost similar. There is not much difference in the shades.
