Even I’ve lusted after this kind of silver finish for my nails for some years now coz I luv silver bling, but alas no nail polish I’ve tried has given this effect 🙁 . Anywho, after some research I learnt that these are ‘Minx’ nails :inlove: :inlove: . Google out ‘minx nails’ & you will know that this is a type of a professional salon manicure that you can only avail through Minx professionals & stylists. It’s very famous among western designers, models & hollywood celebrities. Through their site, I got the contact details of a stylist in Mumbai at Bandra. Haven’t tried the manicure though coz it might cost a bomb :quiet: :((

There is some nail polish shade in the revlon top speed series which gives this type of finish.

It’s called a minx manicure. You can’t really get such a smooth metallic finish with normal polishes. Otherwise you can try nail foil strips. Or for that shade without the ultra sleek/smooth finish you can try Sally Hansen Chrome nail makeup in Pure Chrome. I used to love that range when it first came out
ive tried sally hansen chrome nail polish and the effect is so similar..wonder if they still make it now cos i didnt see it at any drugstore while in the US this time!!

Jomol, if you are into false nails, you can get this effect with Faces or Konad nail art falsies available at online shopping sites in India. And of course, if you know anyone abroad, ask them to send you nail foils or Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish strips. :))
If you want that exact type of silvery nails, start looking for nail foils,because that is what it is. :methinks:
