Chitrangada’s Red Lipstick: Show & Ask
Shikha asks:

Hi!

I have been wanting to buy a matte red lipstick for a while. I have done a lot of research and realized that I want something more crimson red instead of a tomato /orangish red. I think I am neither cool nor warm toned, probably neutral. My skintone is fair but not extremely fair. I am 25 years old, so I don’t want to wear something which will make me look older(I think it usually happens with darker colors). Also it’s the first time I am going to be trying red so I am scared! I saw this picture of Chitrangada in red and fell in love with the red she is wearing. Can someone tell me what’s on her lips?
Thanks,
Shikha

retro matte ruby woo is the perfect answer to all your above points *hifive*
Hi mily! I have been considering mac ruby woo for the longest time. I guess its time to try it out
Thanks!
I think Chambor Rubis Rouge is also a beautiful red and Chitrangada seems to be wearing MAC Viva Glam 1
Lakme Runway Red will be a good option..
The exact match to what chitrangada is wearing is MAC VIVA GLAM 1. you may check the swatches online!
Thanks fiona! Will def check it out. Wondering whether to get MAC ruby woo or viva glam 1 🙂

It looks like Ombre atleast to me may be you can try MAC’s Robywoo then just dab Lady danger just in the center with a brush
