I am back with another review of MUA; you all must be thinking that I have gone crazy for MUA. And yes up to some extent, I just love this girly, chic brand, for their lovely cute packaging, for their great eye products and for their shades, whatever is it I just can resist myself without trying my hands on atleast 1- 2 shades of lipstick, eyeshadows or glosses.

Packaging: The gloss comes in a long and thin transparent gloss bottle, with a long doe- foot applicator, which eases the application on lips. The applicator picks very small amount of gloss, which is just enough for covering one lip. The packaging looks very girly with the large fonts ‘Out there plumping lip gloss’ written on the bottle. All over the packaging is eye catching & travel friendly.

My Take on MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss in Sienna

Shade, Texture & Pigmentation: ‘Sienna’ is pure an orangey coral shade, with very concentrated minuscule golden shimmers in it, which gives the gloss a warm golden sheen. The color appears much toned down and neutral coral shade on lips. The shimmers are visible on the lips also, but don’t appear loud.

The lip gloss has a very creamy, smooth texture to it, and glides easily on lips with the applicator. The formula feels really creamy on lips. Many of us are familiar with the tingling sensation that the gloss gives on lips, when you apply for the very first time, it burns like anything, the sensation lasted on me for 7-8 mins and so, I think this is what happens with the lip plumping products. It really gives you the effect of fuller and plump lips. The finish of the gloss is really very glossy. It doesn’t feels sticky and won’t feel heavy on lips.

The gloss itself is much pigmented, but the color turns to be really tone down on lips. But it covers imperfections of lips very well, but as the applicator doesn’t picks right amount of gloss, you’ll need to dip the sponge on the bottle for 2-3 times to get the opaque color on lips.

Staying Power: I know it’s a gloss but I can’t continue without saying this, that I hate the staying power of the gloss. It stays for only 2 hours, in the first hour you’ll notice the bright color fading away, but still the color will stay for 1 more hour. Well it doesn’t leaves behind any shimmery mess and fades away evenly. Being a gloss it transfers but won’t bleed.

Cons of MUA Out There Plumping Lip Gloss in Sienna:

• You’ll surely hate the tingling sensation on lips, which will linger on lips for minutes.
• Availability of all shades easily in India.
• Some may not like the golden shimmers in it.
• Applicator picks small amount of gloss. You’ll have to dip the applicator 2-3 times in the bottle for good color on lips.

Recommendation: Yes, definitely I liked the shade and hope everyone will love it to. But please prepare yourself for the discomfort it gives you for the first time you apply it, but it happens to me for the very first time only. It’s a lovely coral shade, can be worn every day, won’t wash you out, so don’t miss this one.
