Today, I am reviewing yet another shade from Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick range by Kate Moss. This is the shade #10, read on to find out more.

My Experience with Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss – Shade 10:

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a sleek black matte finish packaging. The cap has the Rimmel logo engraved on top and a print of Kate Moss’s signature. The packaging looks quite classy and is sturdy as well. The cap shuts tight and you can easily travel with it in your bag. Since the packaging is completely opaque, you need to look at the bottom of the lipstick to find out which shade it is.

Shade: Shade #10 is as red as red can get 😛 It is cool toned and very bright. It also has subtle golden shimmer in it, the shimmer is not exactly visible on the lips and only adds a nice sheen. This lipstick is best reserved for those special occasions as I cannot imagine anyone wearing this shade of red on a daily basis.

Texture, Finish, Pigmentation:  The lipstick glides quite smoothly on the lips and you do not need to tug at it at all. The finish is semi matte with lots of sheen. The lipstick does not feel drying on the lips and you do not need to apply any lip balm underneath.

Since this is a bright shade, one swipe is enough to get full opacity; however, layering does not make the application patchy or cakey. I would recommend wearing a lip liner to avoid any feathering.

Staying Power:  This is not a transfer-proof lipstick and transfers easily on to cups and glasses. It definitely does not stay for 8 hours as advertised and stays for around 3-4 hours.

• Glides smoothly on the lips.

• Does not feel drying on the lips.
• Classy packaging.
• Very affordable.

Cons of Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss – Shade 10:

• Claims of 8 hours staying power is not exactly true.

If you are searching for a bright red lipstick, you can surely try it out.  I will not repurchase the exact same shade.
