There was a BOGO sale on Victoria’s Secret site and I was going frenzy adding one product after another to the cart. I had added 9 that I wanted. I could get one more on the offer, so I picked this one randomly. Being one of their most sought-after and loved fragrances, I thought I had made a good buy and would be in for a sweet surprise. Or maybe not * straight face*

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Body by Victoria Fragrance Mist:
It is much after I purchased this that I realized that I don’t like freesia notes. So you know what I feel about this fragrance. Pure seduction with its freesia was still bearable to me. This is the most “freesia-y” of all of VS fragrances. I don’t like it. It is soapy and flowery and very very sweet. Again another of VS scents that don’t boast of an amazing partitioning of notes. It is just an amalgamation of extreme sweetness (maybe only for me) and floweriness. I don’t know what all words I am coining in the process of reviewing this hehe 😛
It is very strong for a mist and so all of you who like sweet fragrances are in for an amazing deal. As has to be the norm, this strong scent lasts on me for quite a long time, well duh! No base notes that I like. It is a constant emission of the same notes over and over before it dies. I haven’t been able to force myself to wear this more than 2 or 3 times. You can see that the whole bottle is left. Of course, it was long after this that I realized the kind of notes I like, so I wouldn’t see another bottle of this again. It is one of Victoria’s best-selling fragrances surprisingly *rolling eyes*
The packaging is a boring cuboidal bottle in plastic with sharp edges. I like the backdrop image though, with its silver letters in a royal font making up the words Victoria’s and Secret in a random order.
Pros of Victoria’s Secret Body by Victoria Fragrance Mist:
- Very strong (for those who like this).
- Stays for 4-5 hours.
Cons of Victoria’s Secret Body by Victoria Fragrance Mist:
- Very very sweet for my liking.
- No break up of notes.
- No warm notes complementing the sweet notes.

I agree with your opinion …some VS fragrances can be to much to handle so its better to try the sniff before buying and if you’re buying online do have a look at the top, mid and base notes in the official website 😀
