Inglot AMC Eyeshadow Shine #28
By Priya Garg
Hello beautiful ladies,
I am back again with my second review today. I must say that nobody can feel left-out here. The kind of response I got for my first review was quite overwhelming. I am happy to deliver something useful to IMBB, and that feels great. Today, I am going to review an eyeshadow by Inglot. This is the shade that I won in an Inglot contest along with some other products. I anyway would not have chosen this kind of a shade ever, but it is always a win-win situation if you are getting something for free: D.
Anyway, let us start with the review of the product.
Product Quantity:
2.4g
Price:
Rs. 650/-
Packaging:
The AMC eye shadow comes in a small plastic round box. It has a transparent lid through which you can see the colour. It is lightweight which makes it easy to carry around.
My experience with Inglot AMC Eyeshadow Shine #28
The shade 28 is quite a tricky shade with a duo chrome finish with fine silver glitter. It lies in between icy cool blue(white blue) and purple, depending on how the light hits the pan. It looks icy blue in the pan, but when applied, it turns to bluish-purple. This colour will suit light to medium skin tones but would look stark and garish on above NC-42 skin toned beauties. When I got the shade, I was not even sure as how would I be using it. But then, after some trials, I started using it as an inner corner shadow. If you just want some brightness on the eyes, you can get away with applying a single layer and a coat of mascara as I do all the times. Brave hearted ladies can use it on their entire lids and can rock the shade as I have shown in my EOTD. I have applied the shade with a heavy hand but you can always build up the intensity according to your liking.
The Inglot AMC eye shadow #28 has a staying power of 4-5 hours on my oily lids without a primer, after which it starts creasing. The staying power could definitely be extended by using a primer underneath. The pigmentation is quite average and I need to swipe at least 3 times to get a good colour payoff. The texture is smooth and is blendable. The shimmer is not bothersome but it would give a nice sheen to the eyes. It would not make you look like a disco ball. There is a slight fall out but again that is something which is inevitable for most of the eye shadows.
Pros of Inglot AMC Eyeshadow Shine #28:
• Cute and sturdy packaging
• Pretty colour for lighter and medium skin toned beauties
• Stays for 4 hours without a primer
• Smooth texture and blendable
• Paraben free formula
• Easily available online
• Not tested on animals
Cons of Inglot AMC Eyeshadow Shine #28:
• Pricey
• Average pigmentation
• Not suitable for dusky skin toned beauties
• Slight fallout
• Shimmer might not be liked by everybody
• Not easily accessible through stores
Would I buy the Inglot AMC eye shadow shine #28 again?
No, because I am not into white-blue kind of shades. Plus it will last me for a long time. So, I don’t see myself buying this kind of a shade.
Do I recommend Inglot AMC Eyeshadow Shine #28?
Inglot has similar kind of a shade in freedom system as well which costs less. So, you can try it out if you are into shimmery white-blue kind of shades. Dusky girls stay away from it.
IMBB Rating:
3.5/5
It is my personal rating since I am not too fond of the colour. Also, the quantity they are offering is too less as compared to the price.
Thank you all.
