My Take on Wet n Wild Voltage Blue MegaLiner Liquid Eyeliner:
I have loads of black eyeliners in the form of pencil, gel, liquid liners, but not many colored ones and none of them is a liquid liner.
Packaging: This liner comes in a rather small conical jar with just one fourth of the packaging holding the product. The remaining three fourth of the bottle is a cap which holds a felt tip brush; it is stiff and can be used like a tiny felt tip pen. The brush has very fine bristles which give a very precise thin line and perfect to make a winged eyeliner look.
Color: It’s an indigo blue color, but on the paler side and can be a bit tricky to pair along with daily or normal makeup looks.
Pigmentation: Pigmentation is ‘meh’ for a liquid liner, one swipe does not give an opaque line as I expect from eyeliners; I can add multiple coats to enhance the pigmentation, but between each application, I have to wait for it to dry or it gets very streaky and patchy.
Shimmer and Shine: It does not have shimmer particles, gives a matte finish, and I personally prefer it over the glossy one.
Wear Time: It gives a good wear time and though this liner might a few minor flaws, wear time is not one of them. It does not break or flake off and stays intact till I remove it at the end of the day with my makeup remover. However, it is not at all waterproof, I mean a single splash of water will wash it off without leaving a trace of color behind; hence it does give a good wear time, as long as no water or sweat touches it.
This product is only for $2.99 and is worth a try but not worth a repurchase because it has poor resistance to water or sweat. It is something that you can try, but not an important addition to your permanent collection.
