OMG !!! Just a week ago my friend told me the exact same thing. She said that her mom was doing it for years and I’ve seen her mom’s skin , it soo works !!!
yeah..my mom has been telling this to me since childhood!! :-P….he he! I am used to applying any cream in upward and circular motion only!! π π π
yeahhhhh……!!! :-* :-* :-* ..They rock!…Such wisdom..They would tell us what to use when..for example she introduced me to curd and henna for hair, coz my hair were somewhere like Banaras’s sadhu baba’s :-(( ..and then she made my first home made body and face scrub with besan, sugar, sandalwood powder, kesar, honey, lemon juice and curd. π π π to get me off my tanning.
I wonder what we would tell our daughters once they are grown up. “Beta – Try Mac, don’t go for Lakme. I’ve been using Mac since ages and see how good I still look. and Mrs.XYZ was using Lakme, see how her lips have all gone black because of the heavy lead product.” π π π ….
Its funny though coz my mom was the one who introduced to me to MAC. When they opened their first store she gave me this BIG lecture on how if I was going to use make-up I needed to know what I was doing. And I had no idea what MAC was, all i knew was lakme and revlon π And she went to the MAC MUA and made him give me a make up lesson on how to apply what and the appropriate products for my skin ! π π π π
Now when I look back – I think it was pretty cool π π π
I think she did it out of desperation π I was one of those crazy teens who thought bright blue eyeshadow with Dark Brown lipstick was “cool” *shudders in horror*
Funny you should say that Rati π― π― π― π― thats what its like in my house. I use all the MAC but my mom uses just about everything Chanel π π π
When you are a teen – you feel like disagreeing with everything mom says and then suddenly you hit your twenties and everything she ever told you starts to make sense π π π
I don’t even remember how many times I must have fought with my mom. π And now I know how useful here every word was. Especially after marriage when You have to deal with different people, all your mother’s wisdom suddenly starts making sense. π
I also read somewhere that keeping your feel elevated at night, helps proper blood circulation to your head and face.. Whch also helps in age defence.. :-))
Like Janhavi said, it was not required to have children to understand what my mom has gone through…once you get married it gives you a gist on how right your mom was π
Does anyone have an opinion on whether MAC will work for mature skin? i am 42, slightly fair woman..i have combination skin and my biggest problem is my dark circles (i shud say black actually.. π₯ )

Lol I know !!! My mom’s fav line for when I used to fight with her was “Jab tumhare bachcha honge tab tum samjhogi” …… π π π π
I can’t agree more on that. π π
I think the reason behind it improved circulation… Hai na?
M, that too and also you are pulling your skin up (against the gravity), so it helps. π
I also read somewhere that keeping your feel elevated at night, helps proper blood circulation to your head and face.. Whch also helps in age defence.. :-))
