Skin Type: Oily and acne prone.
Rose is my current favourite ingredient that I love to use in my DIY face pack. Winter takes a toll on the natural glow of your skin, thereby, looking dull, tired and rough. Unlike a hot summer day, in winter we also need a skin refreshing face pack that provides some glow and hydration to the skin. Also, winter means laziness so, I thought to quickly prepare this easy face pack that doesn’t need time and gives me an instant result.
Let’s get into the recipe.
• Rose Petals: Rose is rich in vitamin C which is a big source of anti-oxidants; so, it helps to protect skin cells from damage and makes it healthy. It also protects your skin from the sun damage and its soothing effect calms down the tired skin. It also has moisturising properties that keep your skin soft and naturally glowing. It also acts as an anti-bacterial ingredient.
• Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera provides immense hydration to the skin and it also repairs any damage. It reduces the dull, tired skin’s texture and provides a fresh youthful clear skin. It is good for all skin types and it makes your skin smooth, soft and fresh instantly. It acts as a nice skin soothing or refreshing element. It also helps to reduce acne and dark spots.
• Orange: Orange is an excellent source of vitamin C. It helps in making you look young and glowing. Regular use of orange juice can make your skin bright and clear. It acts as an acne fighting agent. Oranges are also rich in anti-oxidants. It helps to keep your skin hydrated and detoxifies the skin. It is a great ingredient for cleaning the clogged pores and controls the oil secretion from your face.
Step 1: First, you need to take a ½ spoon of Aloe Vera gel in a bowl and add ½ spoon of Orange Juice to it.
Step 2: Combine them nicely and make a smooth paste in the bowl.
Step 3: Next, you need to make a thick paste of some Rose petals and add 1 spoon of rose paste in that bowl.
Step 4: Mix all the ingredients nicely and you are ready with your face pack.
Step 5: Apply this pack on your clear skin and keep it for around 15-20 minutes and then rinse it nicely.
This is a light weight, almost gel like pack that feels very smooth and soft on the skin. It will not dry out your skin and works really good in this winter. This pack never feels stretchy on your skin. It also never makes your skin dry. This lightweight face pack feels very soothing and refreshing on the skin and it instantly uplifts my tired face. It provides a non-oily, soft smooth skin by making it look very healthy too. I love its after effects. It also reduces light acne spots with regular usage and makes your skin look clear. Actually, I didn’t expect such amazing results but, it provides an instant fresh glow to the skin and my face looks very bright too. It provides decent hydration and keeps your skin soft for long. It will suit all skin types and never broke me out. I hope you enjoy this recipe.
