Bath and Body Works Peach Bellini Ultra Shea Body Cream Review

Yes, again, it is another product from Bath and Body Works. Well, I picked a lot of (and most of the) Bath and Body Works products during the sale, and picked this product just to fulfill that offer. I did not try it out in the store and it got a place in my shopping basket just because it said “peach. :P” I thought it would be a great change from the warm winter scents that I had picked up. But after using it for the first time, I regretted not trying out the fragrance in the store itself. No, it is not bad, it is awesome! If I had given it a try at the store, I might have bought more products from the range. 😛 Okay! Before I give away the whole review here itself, let us move on. 😉

My Experience with Bath and Body Works Peach Bellini Ultra Shea Body Cream:

Bath and Body Works Peach Bellini 24-hour Moisture Ultra Shea Body Cream comes in a shiny orange-colored tube which has an image of peach on it. The tube has an orange-colored flip top cap. Also, sadly, this body cream is not available in smaller, travel-sized versions.

The body cream is white in color and very thick. However, it spreads easily and evenly, and it’s easy to apply. I generally apply it just after the shower, on my damp skin, and it gets absorbed well. It leaves my skin soft and smooth, and not greasy. Coming to the 24-hour claim, it would stand true for those who have normal skin. However, since I have super dry skin, I usually reapply moisturizer while going to the bed. This cream does hold good for 10-12 hours or so for me, only my super dry feet need a reapplication in around 6-7 hours, which is quite okay since that is the case with most of the lotions or creams.

Now coming to the fragrance. The mixture of mango, peach and grapefruit truly took me out of these gloomy winters and instantly, I was in spring! It is awesome! Though the name says “peach,” I find that grapefruit notes are most powerful. Also, dry notes are mandarin and sweet orange which gives me freshness and is very different from the warm winter-y scents all around. The fruity notes are awesome. It makes my whole bathroom smell so good. 😀 The fragrance stays on me only for around 5 hours and after 6-7 hours, I could smell it if I sniffed my arms closely.
