My Experience with Biotique Plum It Up Lip Balm:

Biotique lip balm Plum It Up comes in a black cardboard packaging. The lip balm is the same color as the lipstick tube. The cap shuts securely and that makes the lip balm travel friendly.

Biotique Plum It Up Lip Balm is a light plum shade in the bullet and on the lips, it comes out as a very natural pink plum color. This shade is perfect for daily wear. It comes out as a perfect plum lip balm on my skin tone. I love such naturally tinted lip balm. Also, this is decently pigmented for a lip balm and does cover pigmented lips well. This lip balm does not have any shimmer. Product description mentions it to be a translucent lip color.

The texture of this lip balm is very smooth and creamy, glides easily on the lips. The lip balm has a buttery texture which provides a smooth and even application. It gives a nice tint to my lips. If I layer it up, it looks glossy and shiny. The tint looks good and imparts a healthy glow to my lips. As it’s a plum variant, the lip balm smells sweet and fruity.

The formula is very light and smooth, doesn’t feel sticky. It instantly hydration to my lips. It heals my dry lips and makes them soft and healthy. This is a good lip balm for all types of lips and provides good hydration to dry and chapped lips.

This lip balm also has SPF 20, which protects my lips from sun. The color does settle in fine lines and if you have any dead skin, then it will highlight those, but I give a nice rub with a warm towel before applying the lip balm. As it is a lip balm, it does transfer, but never goes away from the lips. The 12-hour staying power claim is not true.

This lip balm stays long on lips, around 5-6 hours and keeps lips soft, even after the tint has faded away. Since it is a lip balm, it doesn’t survive lunch, but it does survive normal snacks, but my lips still feel soft after a lunch. It a nice daily wear lip balm, even during winter.
