Skin Type: Dry, Sensitive
I am back again with another Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick – this time it’s the shade “Fig.” These lipsticks are one of my favorites as they are entirely natural and made of food-grade ingredients. They are creamy to apply and have decent staying power, so let’s get ahead and know more about “Fig.”
What it is: A collection of high-impact lipsticks in dimensional shades that have been handcrafted to deliver extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear. What it does: Swipe on bold, creamy lip color with Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche. Created and crafted by hand, Bite’s small batch, low-heat process preserves a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments, this lipstick provides saturated lip color with weightless coverage and a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates.
My Experience with Bite Beauty Fig Amuse Bouche Lipstick:
Packaging: The lipstick comes nicely packed in a box and a rubberized finish case that looks and feels luxe. It closes with a click and is travel friendly.
“Fig” has been described by Bite Beauty as a n*de rose and that’s what it looks like on me. The lipstick is very creamy and applies like a dream! It’s very hydrating with a bit of tendency to transfer.
The shade looks more like my natural lips, only hiding the imperfections. During application, the lipstick doesn’t tug or pull the lips and spreads like butter. I haven’t noticed any detectable smell or taste to it. The bullet delivers 90% of pigments in just a single swipe and multiple layers do not make it cakey or feathery. I am so glad that it is organic and food grade, but I have no intentions of eating it 😛
The staying power is not that good as it’s a very creamy lipstick and has some amount of shine. It can be used even by kids who love to use momma’s lip colors as it’s a food-grade product. Despite the flaws, I like this lipstick as it makes my lips appear more full and plump.
Pros of Bite Beauty Fig Amuse Bouche Lipstick:
- Food-grade ingredients.
- Creamy texture.
Cons of Bite Beauty Fig Amuse Bouche Lipstick:
- Staying power could be better.
